So yeah,
No one has suggested Spyro yet. I think in terms of likeleness he dosen't have very good chances. Think about it, with the inclusion of Ivysaur (a quad walker) Spyro could fit in. He has many different elemental powers and his dragonfly sidekick. Also with Sakurai wanting more air combat he could be a pretty good addition. So there it is, if you can come up with a move set I could add it.

Disscuss.

I think there is already a Spyro thread somewhere, who knows I could be wrong. But I doubt Spyro would make it in Brawl mainly because he is a western character hardly known in Japan, that is a reason for which it will be hard for Spyro to be in Brawl.

Spyro, in my opinion, lacks heart and character, unlike many of the other confirmed characters. He was just spun off of one good game into three hundred bad ones, and he's not that popular.
You have good reasons, but those solely are not good enough.

indeed Spyro would be great, but I doubt it since of the decline of his popularity over the last few years, his best games made by universal were on ps1 and lately the newer one's made by Sierra suck, but still he would be a nice addition but I think it's really unlikely, alothough he would really make a great AT

Spyro's my second most desired character, so it's completely unbiased when I say that he won't make it. I think all I really need to say for this one is "Why?". No doubt, he'd be easily workable and he's got just enough diversity to make an original moveset, but Nintendo wouldn't bother. And yes, to whoever said it, Spyro's Universal games on PS1 were epic. I'm gonna miss the little guy...

Spyro for Brawl! : D

Spyro has a trilogy on the GCN, a new title released on the Wii, one for the GBA, and one for the DS. So he's made his rounds, but that's beside the point. Sure, he's an awesome character, but he doesn't really serve any real importance to Nintendo and thus he won't be added. I still wish he would be. =/

we really don't need another fireblower.....
Then I guess we don't need Baby Bowser or Ridley either?

No Bowser Jr.... and the banned dragon is from a major Nintendo franchise that lacks representation. That's a bit different than a character that has done nothing at all for Nintendo.

As much as I adore Spyro the Dragon. He has no chance of getting in. If he were in though on the other hand his appearance better be based on the first 3 Spyro games. >=\

Probably brawling
Spyro needs no representation, the franchise is like a stupid Phoenix, dying in fire, and repeatedly coming back to life, and doing absolutely nothing between deaths. Let them fail, like Sonic did.
