Hey, Sukapon SO has a good chance, as he was mentioned on Sakurai's poll for both this game AND Melee!
Plus he's from a fighting game, so he'd fit in perfectly!

Poo really doesn't stand any real chance as a playable in Brawl... Be realistic now people, they've already made it apparent that they are focusing primarily on MOTHER 3 for the Earthbound/MOTHER series. If we're getting any characters from Earthbound/MOTHER 2, it will be Ness and ONLY Ness. While MOTHER is a great series, it really isn't fair for it to have more than 2-3 playable characters, especially considering that is more of a niche series despite its strong fan base...

I'm pretty sure Poo won't be in Brawl, the thing is, Poo has more chance at being an AT, that Sukapon to be playable.

Commenting on what Deathborne said...personally I find them ******** to have the newest game in the MOTHER series completely overshadow the previous games. Sure, Twilight Princess replacing the Ocarina of Time design is one thing, but it's not the same situation.

He definitely wouldn't have PK starstorm as a regular attack now that it's a Final Smash, and No 2 characters will have the same Final Smash's. Poo never stood a chance in the first place AND he wouldn't be in without PK starstorm

really how do you figure?you seem to know alot about this game huh?? i guess sakurai hadn't thought of everything?; i think that the folks working on this game are pretty imaginitive surely they can work out someway to give him another final smash--being a martial artist i'm sure he's constantly training to better himself, so perhaps like so many of the other characters in this game, he be given a brand new move ((link, samus, ike, IC etc...))

It makes no sense for Poo to not have Starstorm, it is the PSI that belongs exclusively to him, plus, if Ness is out, there's no way for Poo to make it.
i don't recall sakurai saying ness is out and last time i checked theyre putting more stuff
and those of you saying this and that about poo out and pk starstorm, do you have any actual fact of this cause>effect theory, or would you simply have a pillow for your jaw when the game releases just in case

By adding more stuff, this could mean anything. Assuming Ness is out, we're only getting MOTHER 3 characters AKA Claus, Duster, and Kumatora.
I guess you can say that Poo's out and such based on what we've seen but there is no explicit (mostly implied) evidence. Regardless, it's not likely he'll get in.
so what do you guys get by coming here and expressing such things?? is it to simply inform us that you believe were wasting our time or do you want to acknowledge that as a fact?? or is it simply you can't think of a way to support your own personal pick?? or perhaps you hope it will show so much support to your fave if you putdown "competition"?? or is it just saying "it might not happen"?

Aren't you the sensitive one? Is not our fault you get upset by every single post that calls Poo unlikely, since he is far from likely, if you support unlikely characters, please, be prepared for those kinds of things.

It's gonna be fun for you to reply to this after claiming you were going to ignore me, BTW, might wanna argue why Poo should be in Brawl instead of bashing every single person that comes to this thread or what, are there no reasons for Poo to be in Brawl?if poo were to be in brawl, pk starstorm attack aside, does anyone think they would design a new move specifically for the game, or simply buff and old one of his from mother? I haven't completed a single one yet (Ex. Ike: Great Aether > Aether)
