Well, this thread really doesn't have much of a purpose other than to see what the public opinion of Pit in the new Smash will be. I was just curious as to what everyone thinks because personally i am very excited and cant wait for more info p.s. i searched a decent amount for any other thread of this nature and i didn't find anything but if im wrong then just post the link

Pit looks awesum! I think its cool that they brought up such an old character to put in Brawl. Makes you wonder who else they'll find... Anyways it looks like he will be a really good character.

hmm where did our 100 something page Pit topic go? I couldn't find it either, wow I suck as a pit fan don't I?

well, anyways, here's what i've learned about Pit's roll in SSBB. I glanced at this magazine (like 4 years old) in Japanese Nintendo Power or something, it said that there will be 2 Kid Icarus stages, 1 is the palentina's palace (already confirmed, the place where the stage breaks) and another one was a combination of the Hospital and Hot Springs locations in the actual game, not sure how that's going to turn out.

Also, it said that the Eggplant Wizard and the Centurions will be making an apparence in SSBB, I'm guessing as monsters in adventure mode or something.

Also the mallet will also be making an apparence, I'm guessing an item or something? not entirely sure, plus that magazine itself is not entirely trustworthy since it's so outdated.

i got out the original today and played it....made me even more psyched lol and i hope there will be way more stages this time around, not just from Kid Icarus but other games, even mayb some that dont have characters in Smash (ie Animal Crossing)

Hmm? That magazine thing seems a bit phony, seeing as it gives all that info, which we haven’t heard anything about.

Anyways, I wonder what the deal with Pit's double swords are, and if there really are two stances. Heck, it could be like Gen from SF, where a normal move triggers it, and it only changes some moves, and not all.

huh... I searched the forums using the engine by typing in "Pit" and this thread didn't show I wonder why? and also Pit might become a broken character (see: How broken Pit will be (and maybe meta Knight too))

Pit i think is the best addition to SSBB so far it makes a change from the usual nintendo characters like mario etc.
