Welcome to the Evil Lucario Empire matchup discussion hub, where we discuss our strengths and weaknesses against the other characters in preparation for our global conquest.
Overview
Every few weeks we'll rotate through several specific matchup discussion threads where we'll both discuss ins and outs of the matchup as well as determine ratios. Obviously, the boards of the other (inferior) character will be invited as well. As usual, keep discussion courteous, constructive, and intelligent. Posts like 'Lucario wins +2 cuz samus sux lol' contribute nothing and will be ignored unless you provide reasonable support.
Matchup Ratios
Though it's commonplace to use a ratio such as 70:30 or 55:45 to describe matchups, we'll be using the +/- rating system used for the brawl matchup chart. For example saying Lucario has a +2 matchup with Mewtwo means that Lucario has a moderate advantage in the matchup.
+4 = unlosable matchup
+3 = heavy advantage
+2 = moderate advantage
+1 = small advantage
±0 = even
-1 = small disadvantage
-2 = moderate disadvantage
-3 = heavy disadvantage
-4 = unwinnable matchup
