I think Mecha Bowser would be a great FS, but another option could be him covering the stage in goo, and those goo prianah plants appear and attack everyone.

Well if you think he is the same league as Mario, Luigi, Bowser and Peach be my guest then, cause he is SO not!

Why don't you point me to the post where I used the word minor then?
I misread your post. Are you happy? Either way I have found out Bowser Jr was a major character in 3 Mario games, with a major role (or at least a whole level dedicated to him!) in Super Mario Galaxy.

I made a moveset too, I borrowed two moves from smashbot226 but changed them a bit and moved them.

B - Sonic Roar! - Bowser Jr lets out a howling screech like he does in Super Mario Strikers Charged Football which not only knocks back opponents it does roughly 5% damage, this move also wakes up sleeping foes (good for team battles if they aren't on a ledge)

B > - Paintball - Like smashbot226 suggested Bowser Jr takes his brush out in front of him and begins to paint a ball of magical sludge. You hold down the B button to charge up power and size of the attack. When he releases it he shoots his brush like a gun foward. This also leaves a small stain on the foes clothes if it is bigger which has the effect of Lip's Stick for a much shorter time.

B v - Copycat - Like smashbot226's FS. Bowser Jr splashes his brush over a foe quickly and steals their Down B this works like Kirby's copy ability but for a different foe. It also turns you into an aqua blue like jelly form of the character when doing the move.

B ^ - Bullet Blaster - Seen in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and Mario Superstar Baseball Bowser Jr has some affiliation with Bullet Bills. So Bowser Jr hops onto a Bullet bill and skyrockets upwards, he jumps off before it explodes unless you hit someone first in which case you are both damaged. You can jump of prematuraly using the B button in which case it will continue to shoot upwards. The Bullet Bill has a bandana just like him.

I think that Charged Football's scream would make a great move because he is a spoiled little brat and it suits his personality perfectly. His Brush would be used for a lot of his A moves but it would bet better if he had some other variety in his moveset too so he isn't a one trick pony.

I wanna suggest a moveset too :)

^B - Sonic Boom

Bowser Jr jumps and does a flip in the air then an huge BANG sounds and a gust of wind radiates from Bowser Jr as he launches into the air.

<B> - Graffiti

Bowser Jr thrusts his Paint Brush upwards and some graffiti leaks out and covers a small area of land infront of Bowser Jr. When someone walks onto the graffiti they will stumble, when they get back up they run with normal running animation but will move very very very little distance, the graffiti lasts 3 seconds. Theres a small chance (About the same as getting stitch face) that the graffiti will be the electric blue and upon touching it people will suffer damage.

B - Sonic Roar

Bowser Jr screams like a lil' girl and sonic waves will shoot from his mouth doing damage

vB - Shadow Clone Jutsu!!! (Otherwise known as Shadow Mario 'Transformation')

Since you people find it crap (I do too) I'm just gonna customize this abit. The way you use it is, upon pressing vB a somewhat ghost of a black mario will appear but it will cover Bowser Jr and it will move just like Bowser Jr. You can still SEE Bowser Jr but a 'ghost' (Shadow Mario) will cover Bowser Jr. So basically, if you were to press A to jab, you'd be doing 2 jabs in one. The Shadow Mario can't do any B moves but will move with you still if you use Up + B.

I dunno you work it out.

Anyways...

Final Smash - Graffiti to the max!

Bowser Jr puts his paintbrush behind his back and his paintbrush starts leaking plenty of lightning blue liquid wherever he runs. If you press B he will flick the paint brush up and some liquid will spray forward. Characters hit with the liquid will suffer electric damage. You can also combine this with A moves, it will act like normal A moves but with the added effect of electric blue liquid.

I think it would be great if this little bugger ran around wielding his paintbrush; it would be a nice change from the swords and mallets. Can someone point me in the direction of one of those nifty little support banners?

You underestimate the eccentric mind of Sakurai.

I say Bowser JR should wield his brush for Smash attacks, and maybe one special, but that's it. I love the idea of including his Sonic Screech from Strikers though.

A mod? Making a support thread for an unpopular character?
This is great, where's the popcorn? People totally changing their attitude on a wheel-turn is always something great to watch.

Not really. Bowser Jr. can't blow fire, he barely has claws to slash, etc. I can go on all day listing things that Bowser can do that Jr. can't.

Not to mention Bowser Jr. is ridiculously more agile and nimble than Bowser could ever hope to be.

You said that he was a minor character despite the fact that he had a MAJOR role in two MAJOR games, so you must view all villains as minor characters right? That was pretty much what you were saying.
i admit geno is an unimportant 3rd party character (and i don't like him) but you must realize that he is one of the few characters high-ranked in sakurai's poll

That's true, but we don't truly have enough substantial proof that being high on the poll makes you a shoe-in for Brawl. Plus, Sakurai' does whatever he thinks is best anyway. I still hope to see Geno in Brawl though.

In YOUR opinion. Geno is a minor character and 3rd party, I don't see him making it.
Geno is also pretty much a fan demand, unlike Bowser Jr., and a cult character in the gaming and Mario worlds. Although I DO admit Bowser Jr. has a very huge chance and be a cool character, I really can't see him going in over Geno unless his fanbase and support was huge like Geno's.

This is also in fact your opinion. Everyone has opinions of course, and b/c Geno is considered 3rd Party, Bowser Jr. has a bit more of a chance.

I FULLY SUPPORT Bowser Jr. in Brawl. He's the character I want in the game the most, and always has been. He's probably the only character I'd be disappointed about if he didn't make the PC cut.

And why does Bowser Jr or Geno have to make it in? The way I see it, Bowser Jr. replaces Dr. Mario and Geno is the "official" Newcomer to the mario series; they can BOTH be in, you know.

True, but Geno's chances are slim, like it or not. He's considered 3rd Party and since there may only be one more 3rd Party slot left and everyone is rotting for Megaman, Geno might not make it.

I think it's almost moronic to think they won't upgrade some of the past series, Mario, Zelda and Pokemon especially, with new characters. I think we can expect 3-4 new characters from these series alone, but it's just my personal opinion.

I'm very sorry for the very off topic post:

But I have a feeling you don't read your PM's, cause I PM'd you about this like 7 hours ago, anyway, so I might just request this here, Gimpy I need mod approval to start a new Claus thread, we created a new Claus club, for his supporters and the first post just doesn't cut it for us, so we need to start a new thread, can we? Please?

A faster/smaller Bowser would be great.
Of course, reduced strenght and new B-Moves.
I hope he'l keep Bowser's Fire Breath, he's a Bowser tough.

I don't know about the firebreath...maybe a fireball? Paintball? Thing is, I don't recall seeing Jr. hold a firebreath...only fireballs...I could be wrong, though:ohwell: Either way, you're right on the money, DJ...he needs new moves and should be a lighter, faster Bowser...

Jr. for top tier, yay-uhz!!!

I think Bowser Jr. would make a great addition for Brawl. Lots of characters in the Smash games have had "sidekicks" as playable characters before and currently (Pichu, Diddy, etc.)

Not to mention it would be easy to make a unique moveset for B. Jr. and his FS would be hard either, I don't think.
(Mecha Bowser perhaps, or would that be too close to Giga Bowser, being big and mostly indestructible?)

THere's this guy who made a thread stating change. Change, like 5 third party characters. Change has happened, the release date, Mario's moves. Who knows, maybe the release date is from adding more third party characters!

Well, supposing Pichu is out and and Pika, Jiggs and Mewtwo stay, joined by Pokemon Trainer (and maybe even Lucario) that would mean there'd be more playable Pokemon than playable Mario characters! Hence why I think at least one or maybe even two new Mario reps will be added.
I'm not gonna join the flamers and discuss which character deserves to be in over which, I'm just gonna post my idea for a Bowser Jr. Moveset:

B - Fireball: Bowser junior spits out a fireball much like in Yoshi's Island/Yoshi's Story. It's pretty big and damaging but slow moving and with weak knockback.
Bup - Jet Brush: Bowser junior points his Paint Brush down and shoots out a stream of paint, sending him upwards. The paint moves quickly but does poor damage and with weak knockback. Anyone hit by Bowser Jr on his way up however (only on his way up) is hit with a Firefox/Firebird like effect (minus the flames)
Bdown - Scream: The principle works a lot like Mario's FLUDD, except with a "bit" less knockback and it actually does around 2 or 3% of damage.
Bside - Paintball: Bowser Jr swings his Paint Brush and throws a ball of paint which moves in arc and with "medium" speed before hitting the ground. The attack does about the damage and knockback somewhere in between peach's turnips and link's bombs (since it's a thrown projectile) and depending on the color (random) has slightly different effects. Green paint = nothing special, red paint = fire, yellow = electric, blue = ice, black = dark ("purple flames")
FS - Paint Pollution: (an idea that has been mentioned before) Bowser Jr spreads a lot of paint all over the stage. The paint is slippery and Piranha plants come out and attack everyone except for Bowser Jr (he can't get hit by this) The paint and plants disappear after a few seconds.

Hmm, I probably misunderstood everything I've read about the FLUDD then :p.
I thought it was this thing that had HUGE knockback but did no damage?
What does it do then? O.o

Oh well, how about this then?:

Bdown - Rainbow Paint: Bowser Jr swings his Paint Brush overhead, drawing a rainbow which protects him except for his feet (so if he's standing on a platform, an up-air or an upB can still hit him). It acts like Nayru's love, but lasts a little longer and expands a bit (like a small shockwave) before disappearing.

I liked the Koopa Kids better but I guess they wanted to replace them with...Jr.
I liked Bowser's original children from the SNES era (Iggy, Morton, Lemmy, Ludwig, Roy, Lucy, and Larry). But I like Bowser Jr's original style (evil paintbrush ftw)

I think Bowser Jr. would make a great additon to Brawl and he seems like a shoe-in, hence his inclusion in my sig.
