Well I certainly didn't think I would be starting one of these types of threads, but I didn't see a successful one for Bowser Jr, so I thought I would make one.

Bowser Jr has a great chance of being in, a lot of people like him, a lot of people really despise him. I really like Bowser Jr a lot, I think he's a great character. The way him and Bowser interact is really great.

He has seen a few variations in the multitude of games he has been in, obviously his "signature" magic paintbrush comes to mind, I'd personally love to see him using that. Some people have discussed Shadow Mario as a transform for him, I don't really like this idea. It could work if it was a temporary transform that was on a recharge timer or something like that, which other moves have seen (Wario's farting attack, Bowser's Firebreath). There is also the screaming powers that he seems to have based on Mario Strikers Charged, which I think could be interesting.

I also think he would be great for the Subspace Emissary, he could have some pretty cool parts...

Just another thing to throw out there. Looking at the history of recent games, Bowser Jr has been on a clear and obvious rise in the ranks of Nintendo. It's rare now to see Bowser without Bowser Jr, he has been in more games than many characters that people are considering viable options. I think Bowser Jr has a very high chance of being in, but those are just my thoughts. What about you guys? What are your thoughts on this character?

Though I don't like Bowser Jr, and his his completely unoriginal design...(Just Baby Bowser with a handkerchief)...It is starting to look like he's going to be in game...

I liked the Koopa Kids better but I guess they wanted to replace them with...Jr.

I like Bowser Jr. a lot but I personally don't think he'll be in. I'll be cool with it if he was, though, he'd make a nice addition.

I love the Shadow Mario idea you have, Bowser Jr. would be a fun addition to the roster, he has much more potential than other possible Mario characters.

Bowser Jr is the one character I definately DON'T want in Brawl. I'd rather have Waluigi or Tingle.

Bowser Jr would be great for a playable character. The Diddy Kong of Bowser if you want to think of it like that. He's been on the rise for a while now, and would fit perfectly.

bowser jr would be awsome in brawl. i don't really like the shadow mario idea but he could really play well. he has been on lots of games recently which makes he chances higher.

I've been all up for BJR as long as there isn't any Shadow Mario transformation crap.

He could very well be Ninja-like with high jumps (see Mario Sunshine cut-scenes) and use the Paintbrush.

I feel he has above average chances =)

As for Bowser Jr., I like him...he has a good shot...but Gimpy, why not post a moveset? That would be sweet...anyway, I think Bowser Jr. should be in...

Hmm... I can't think of how Sakurai would "Brawlize" him, every game he has been on, hes all "cute looking" so I can't really picture him all scaly and fearsome as Big Boozer.

How do you guys think he would look like in Brawl?

I think that he is probably the best idea for a new Mario newcomer, I look it at like this.

• Geno - 3rd party and a very minor character in the Mario series
• Paper Mario - Has his own spinoff franchise, relativly popular but still Mario
• Waluigi - Filler and a nazi
• Bowser Jr - Recurring character in the main series as well as spinoffs, fast becoming an important character to the series.

He'll probably get replaced with a new set of Bowser Kids, just like the Koopa Kids got replaced by him, he is not slowly becoming an important character to the series, he is not far from being another Waluigi or Daisy.

there were way to many koopa kids for them all to develop and constantly grow, i mean they could've done something with it i guess but bowser jr and bowser have a relationship already and i dont see bowser jr dissapearing behind any new kids any time soon

I've got an idea for Bowser Jr's B moveset and Final Smash...

B: Paintball- As long as you hold down B, BJ starts "Brushing" a giant ball of multicolored paint, and it grows in size and power. Once you like how it is, release the B button and he'll launch it with his brush. If you tilt the control stick, he'll launch it in different directions. You can't make it ungodly big, however. Just the maximum size of Bowser.

B^: Rainbow Run- BJ sticks his paintbrush straight in front of him as he runs and as his brush goes forward, he makes a paint road to run on. Keep in mind it can loop and lasts for about five seconds. It can go as high and far as you want it, just move it with the control stick.

BV: Bowser Bomb- BJ quickly creates a mini Bowser Bomb like in the Mario Party series and its basically like Link's bomb.

B>: Brush Twirl- BJ dashes forward as he twirls his brush. Pretty basic, but can also deflect projectiles while his brush is still spinning.

FS: Copycat- Bowser Jr. copies one of the enemy's forms BJ is fighting. However, the differences between them are that BJ Clone is aqua blue, uses the copied foe's moveset, and... is twice as fast and strong as the copied player normally is. Lasts for fifteen seconds.

I doubt they would just replace him again and not far from being another Waluigi or Daisy? He was the main villain in both Sunshine and New Super Mario Bros as well as playing some role in Galaxy (not sure), yes he is in spinoff games but that's just because they are around, he still plays a large role in the main series.

he was a "main" character in one game and had a very small cameo after that

super mario rpg is one of my favorite games, geno was a pretty cool character, but i really see no reasonable explanation for why he should be in
