First off, just want to that the guys who got my original post closed

Secondly, we are going to be going to a monthly format until things start to pick up and it looks like bi-weeklies are needed again.

2/23 Round Robin Smash Tourney

THIS IS A BYOC EVENT

Matches are 2/3, random neutral for the first, and counterpicks for the second/third.

Entry fee is $10 per person.

Payout is 60/30/10 after the house takes 20%

The Cave sells food/drinks/energy drinks

There will be time for friendlies before and after, so come early and stay late.

Tournament starts @ 12pm

Come early to sign up so I can make the Round Robin Pool.
Post if you plan on coming- great fun

Lol...2 scrubs were arguing like little boys. One of these scrubs tried to hack the other scrub, so that Hackee posted it in the other cave thread..then a mod saw it, banned the hacker scrub..and closed the thread.

Jeff: I assume the last 1/2 tournies are not going to effect the rankings on account like 8 kids went?

-- The ACT is on 2/9, So me and Halfdemon won't be making it....I assume Zane Fleia and Kit wont be there either.

Ok so it's not going to be on this weekend and not the week after...so that means it's now on the 16th? I don't see why i couldn't make that. To bad it wasn't this weekend i had already planed out to drive Ouen there, and had actually been able to practice a little. Oh, well looking forward to playing on the 16th then. And does the $10 i pay cover the tournament play and friendlies? Or do i have to pay extra for that?

Snowstorm hasn't been on AIM at all lately, but he's been active on SWF, so I dunno if he'll be coming to another tourney.

anyway, how long do you guys go til?
i want to bring a friend and he doesn't get off work until 3:30.

this will also be our first tournament outside of my basement if we go lolz.

edit: ouendan– crew battles are when two clans fight 1v1 battles. after the first match the person who won fights the next person of the opposing crew but keeps the same amount of stock he left off with in the last match. 1v1's continue. i think that's how it goes, from what i've seen.

I'd like to visit the Cave for the next tourney. I'm glad it's not the 9th, since the WI tourney is the same day. Keep us posted.
