To end the week off, we’ve been granted news of another item, this one from the MOTHER series, or Earthbound, to us english speaking countries. It’s the Franklin Badge.

Annoyingly enough I can’t find what this did in the game it was from (Not sure if it’s from MOTHER 1, 2 or 3) so no retro corner today. Anyway, the use of the item is fairly simple, so I’ll break this down into a simple step 1, 2, 3 format.
1. Do not step on the badge. Bades have sharp pins on the back. They HURT when stepped on. (Stepping on it won’t actually hurt your character ingame though (as far as we know) )

2. Put on the badge. (Perferably on an item of clothing. It is not recomended that you attach a badge to your chest in real life, due to puncturing the skin.

3. Get shot.
4. In the game. I repeat, get shot IN THE GAME.

5. Laugh when the projectile hits someone else.
6. Run, because they are most likely not going to be stupid enough to do it again until the badge wears off, as it’s based on a timer.

Please note: If you don’t have a torso, you’ll have to think of diferent places to attack it.
