It just doesn't seem practical to me. I mean, you can download music and get tourney info right on these boards, both of which are pretty painless.

But don't let me stop you. If you're feelin it, go for it. Who knows? It could work out.

I'd listen to it. I think this idea has some pretty good merit.

Perhaps you can have Series or character hours where you play music that expresses the history of a series or character. Starting with some of there oldest music and working your way up to music from that characters most recent release. [which would probably be Brawl at this time.]

yup, go for it, sounds excellent, you could have different days of the week dedicated to certain characters and the music from their games, like: For Monday: Mario, Metroid, Mushroom Kingdom, Marth, Mr. Game and Watch, Mewtwo, Metaknight, Metal Gear, Metal (Metal Mario), or Master Hand. For Tuesday and/or Thursday: Pokemon Trainer, ? - The Legend of Zelda. For Wednesday: Game and Watch, Wireframe. Friday: Captain Falcon, Falco, Fox, Fire Emblem, Fighting Alloy (or Polygon or Wireframe). Saturday or Sunday: Samus, Snake, Sonic, Squirtle, Sandbag, or ? - Zelda. you could even dedicate days to certain stages, like since there's not much to dedicate Wednesday to, maybe Whispy Woods Wednesday. I think this sounds like a great idea. Or maybe just a podcast with discussion about music possibilities if the radio-thingy doesn't work.

Well, that IS an alright idea actually... you'd be ok as far as music goes the Smash Brothers games have always had a good, meaty soundtracks to them so far, and if Brawl is any indication then you'd have quite a huge one to work with! Of course, it might end up getting a little old especially since we'd all be playing Smash and listening to that music, or just getting the soundtrack ourselves to jam to when it comes out... I wouldn't know about shows so I won't get to that.

Oh well, I've heard much worse around these parts, anyway.

Yeah I like this idea, however I think more then just smash music you should find great music that represents each franchise in smash (music that hasn't appeared in smash, but is relevant to that franchise....example: Gerudo's Desert from Ocarina of Time).

I would also love if we could send in requests before hand because I just mixed this awesome MGS theme that I would like to get out. It needs a little more work but it's really great.
