Hi there again.
The last time I presented my Kirby Collection here was probably 2 or 3 years ago.
So I just want to show you (you who remember those, and you who I present them for the first time)

Your pixel art is impressive!

Could you tell a bit about how you made these, do you start from scratch or do you build on exisiting sprites?

mostly they are done by scratch. I have a paint file with the starting circle, the eyes and the colors for basic kirby, and then I add arms, legs, hat and the mouth. I use several artworks so I see what is where and to see all the tiny details.

Sometimes if I'm super lazy, I also steal stuff from existing sprites (if there are sprites) like ivysaurs blossom, Marle's hair or Battletoads' heads. But often I have to edit them, to fit them into the 'art' direction like all the others

yepp, this is a work of a few years, and once in a while a make a bunch of new ones

depends, easy ones take like 15-20 minutes,

hard ones can easily take 60 to 90 minutes
