I actually planned to do a livestream sometime soon (whenever university work allows) to try to garner support over on the Twitch viewer side of things. My channel's tiny, of course. I just wanted to have a little fun socializing with people and playing Roy's games. I was gonna continue my streamed FE6 run (maybe do FE7 after), do more Melee and PM netplay via Dolphin with viewer challengers, open up discussions on his mechanics and how they could be incorporated into the Sm4sh gameplay effectively, etc. provided people are actually there to join in.
In retrospect, it may be better to try to do something more collaborative with the people here, should there be anyone interested.
I would love to tune in, and if you need advertising, I have a few decently-sized Facebook pages, my profile with a decent amount of friends, and The Royvolution group to advertise in, all where I already know a ton of streamgoers.
It would be awesome to see a Roy stage. Like Ostia, and saving Lilina, who could be like Bird-Man in Magicant, or Ridley in Pyrosphere!
I think the best stages for Roy might be:
-The battleground in Ch21 where he fights Murdock and toooooons of wyverns. There could be a few mountains to stand on, with wyverns flying by and fighting other fighting units who can all be used as platforms, and there's friendly fire between the peaks from warring archers and mages.
-You know that one chapter with the fire dragon on each throne? Also the chapter where the party fights the final boss? Maybe a dark underground shrine surrounded by magma based on those settings.
-There's also the legendary weapons caves.
-Western isles, we need a non-transforming water stage for once... even stagebuilder didn't give us that.
-Castle Ostia where Lilina is imprisoned and she casts spells from a distance for the player who breaks the wall to rescue her.
-Zephiel's castle where Zephiel is a stage boss that appears periodically from the middle gate. There would be one tower with a switch each on each side that opens the gate, assuming both are #TRIGGERED.
-A desert would be a good representative stage of the whole series, and it would finally be enjoyable to fight in a Fire Emblem desert.
Just some ideas. Hopefully we get one, and hopefully New Pork City returns.
Oh wow, I remember when just recently this thread wouldn't get a single post for days. Now I've been gone for half a day from sleeping and work and it feels like I missed so much! You guys in here are all so awesome!
That neutral B, man! My favorite move in all of Smash Bros. Honestly my favorite use for it was in lieu of the bat in the homerun contest.
I'm so glad the thread is more active now. If we can keep enough discussion going to keep this thread bumped to the top of Character Discussion, that's easily going to boost our winning chances.
HRC Flare Blade is crazy. I've seen superhuman HRC attempts on YouTube for the longest time, and I'm actually proud to beat Yoshi's distance for that one trophy with Roy later down the road just screwing around.

On a related topic, it would be cool to see DLC music as well as the characters.
Specifically, a Shaman In the Dark remix would be awesome. Or even just the Shaman In the Dark from the OST disc for the game would be cool.
And the Miiverse drawings are all so cool!
This is the song cut I'm most salty about. It's one of the few SSBB tracks I never replace when making PM/B- packs.
I want to see any of these on Wily's Castle badly. Originals or remixes, they'd be perfect.
