I'm pretty hyped for it myself seeing that Voodoo Smash was the first tourny I ever hosted. Come dressed up in costumes since it'll be close to Halloween and all.

I'll be making tiny tweaks to the rules because I want the rules to be consistent to what we are used to playing, but it mainly applies to the ruleset for Melee and 64. Also we are going to have Brawl doubles first. Double MK banned (going to add that right now, I forgot to add it when making the thread).

Since Voodoo is supposed to be a major tournament for LA, Erick is doubling the points you can earn. So hopefully, this will entice more people to come at a shot of getting some credit towards smashcon in the winter.

I remember Voodoo Smash 3 was the last tourney I played Lee in a 1v1 set. Got double 2 stocked that day and got it put on YouTube. Good times...

Anyways I should be there.

Pretty sure the night before this is the Carlotta Block Party and some of us won't be attending school because of being wasted. We might make the tourney on time lol

I already have my costume planned out for both of these events.

I usually go to my friend's tailgate near Patrick F Taylor, there's like multiples though. Pretty much if you know someone in that particular college(ex. Business, Construction, etc.), they'll have one.

We got the BR monthly changed to the first Saturday of every month at lazertag. The next one will be Oct 6th.

Here are the results and sadly we did not have enough for a brawl tourney only n64 and Melee. :(
Next time I'm sure since its a Saturday things will be much better this was only a demo run to train our new TO anyway we didn't expect much of it. :\

We should have the thread up for the next BR monthly by tomorrow OCT 6th A SATURDAY in case someone missed that memo ;)

i wanna go to Baton Rouge just because you guys aren't ****ies and are actually kinda seeming kinda somewhat cool unlike Alabama and the fact that you aren't all petty greasy salty nerds, like Alabama, and the fact that you have the balls to not ban metaknight at every singe one of your tournaments.


but that ****s like an 8 hour drive. someone help me out or something? i wann a play this game but everyone in Alabama save like 2 people suck too much
