Small little post here, but i just wanted to say something, something important to me. I myself used to be one messed up little kid. Not one day went by where I didn't think about killing myself. I tried more than on one occasion and thankfully i didn't succeed.
Lately I've been feeling a lot better about myself and my life. I realize it's the little things in life that make the bad things not as serious. Like just the other day I was walking after school and I saw someone drop everything on the ground. Papers flying everywhere and everyone just walking by. I laughed at him then helped him pick his books up, he smiled and said "thanks man, I appreciate it". His smile made my day (no homo).
Now for some other thing a little less cliche/gay. My friends Dom, Jimmy and I were walking to the store to buy a pack of cigs and we walked by this house with some awesome drumming coming out of it. We thought nothing of it and kept walking jamming out banging our heads (mind you we are all metalheads \m/[>.<]). So we pick them up and start walking back, but unfortunately they stopped. I saw people in the back yard and i screamed "play another song!" nothing happened so we start walking away. All of a sudden they start jammin out and we go back to their front yard listening to them. By this time we look like total creepers. The lead singer's girlfriend comes out and tells us we can go in the back if we want. We do and they are the most amazing band I've ever heard! Their name was "Shores of Babylon" you should look them up :D
Anyways as i said before the little great things make the horrible things tolerable. I know I'm not the first person to realize this, but it means a lot to me
