Okay guys. Whatever was going down on the 30th is OFF.
1.Dave is no longer in charge of this event.
2.The new people in charge are really disorganized.
3.Even if we still had smash, I'd have to ask Dave to be the middle man by communicating with these new people. That's too much to ask at this point in the semester.
So no UH crew battle. (not on the 30th at least)
My crew will probably never participate in an island wide crew battle, but we can still do the team leeward vs team rest of the island etc.
This is what happens when we don't have a proper venue for these kind of things. But it's okay. Can't really be helped cause Smash is pretty dead over here.

To answer your question, this whole thing came from a flyer that tom found. I talked to them via myspace, but they wouldn't set up anything without meeting me face to face.
The general opinion is that it isn't the time and effort to work with these people because even if there is a tournament, the turnout will be only us or people that don't know, and then when they lose they'll run off and never come back. And then they'll probably realize that it's not worth their resources to do it again.
They will hold brawl tournaments eventually. Don't know how much good that'll do us at this point.
But the bottom line is. The community of competitive smashers is just too small to hold monthlies. If we want to run something that'll just end up being us anyways, we might as well do it ourselves.

tom thanks for waking me up. i say it's not worth it because other people could be bringing their stuff to play. if you wanna smash you could just simply open your garage and people will come.

Frankie's court vision and accuracy is scary. They hurt Frankie. They actually felt more like I was getting hit in the heart than the head.

I'm terribly busy this week and I'm very burned out.
I've been talking to wolves, circles, and who knows what else. @_@ I've even lost to a little girl that plays Halo. Seriously...Kirby is just too good. Prodigy I tell you.
