Understandable, Shantae isn't even my top priority either.

Read through all of that on that other thread... That guy's comments were full of soo much stupidity -_-.. To be frank he's lucky I didn't happen upon them before you did. He would have been in for a gaming history lesson... A long one..... XD

Good job on the serving :p.

Anyway.. I understand people's desires to keep threads focused on their target characters.. but that shouldn't be an excuse for stupidity, and illogical "points" against other characters. If we aren't allowed to talk about other campaigns in certain threads, in the effort to educate and correct erroneous thoughts, then they shouldn't be allowed to badmouth those characters in that thread either.. As I have stated elsewhere, they only do that out of fear that certain characters would "steal slots" from their own precious character... which isn't the case.

Eh, I'm honestly not all that surprised at [REDACTED]'s arguments because I've seen it all before probably about a hundred times. It's literally just the "indie = @#$% you" rant with a helping of "@#$% your character, I want this character". Nothing new, nothing notable. People like that who clearly don't know what they're talking about are either best ignored, or proven wrong so they'll be quiet.

Needless to say I'd heavily prefer the latter. Since he went out of his way to label Shantae as the object of his hate, I'd love to see her get in over Isaac. Mind you I'd rather have both, but this way is funnier.

Not sure why the Inklings needed to be Smashified since their models and official art were already pretty Smashy, but hey, at least they're keeping their artist skills sharp.

I know they've received a few requests for Shantae, so hopefully that actually happens.

I believe I saw in the comments (by Omni) that this was pretty much done because Splatoon is out, like how they did Travis cuz of Mother's Day. Even though this is a great render, let's just keep pressing them on to do Shantae. (USE THE HASHTAGS PEOPLE)

That's what upsets me. All I wanted to do from the start was the two steps:
1) Vote for a character.
2) Support that character until the ballot closes.

I understand this is an opportunity to have a character you wanted in Smash for such a long time, and this could (maybe) be a once in a life time for us, but I just wish people would butt out with all the dumb complaints and mind their own business. They fear a slot will be 'stolen' just because either a character is getting a lot of support, or one person just wants a character in general. I've delt with people who would say something stupid, then I would prove them wrong, and all they would do is say the same thing all over again. I even came across someone who was like, "The parents would sue Nintendo if they put Shantae in because of her breasts". That comment was stupidly funny, that it was pathetic.

It's like I said a while back on this thread: They do all of these things because they're scared. Scared their chances will slip because of ONE character. Trust me, we'll be dealing with this a lot until October 3rd.

Yep! That's a Shantae Sackgirl :b:

I made that costume on LBP3, and was the image I wanted to show on this thread, but I wasn't sure how to. Since it came directly from my PS4.

I also made a Mimic (Shantae's Uncle) costume for Toggle, a Sky and Wrench costume for Sackgirl and Swoop (which turned out 'ok'), made a Tickerbat costume for Sackboy, and I'm almost done making Rottytops. Just missing a costume piece. And all I need now is a pirate hat so I can make Risky Boots :)

But yeah, tone down the videos and images if they get too much for the general audience here.

Heh, You're fine. I find it funny how a single animated drawing of Shantae shaking it is enough to just send the entire thread rolling over the edge.. I guess she is just that awesome though.. and really good at dancing... ._.

Of course I can understand the random chatter. We are in the middle of a information drought.. hopefully the direct in a couple of weeks, and e3 will quench our thirst though. (I just hope it will last until October though..... :/)

What do you envision, if anything from Shantae's normal spells (Fireball, Pike Balls, Storm Cloud, etc) being in Shantae's Moveset?
