I looked through my pile of Nintendo Powers and I didn't have that one. The highest I had was 238.

I am so glad that "leak" was debunked. Also that one gamefaqs topic had a pole for who is the most requested and Shantae is #1 above even King K. Rool.

Yeah, having her be a Mii costume would have made me cry. Also, I'm surprised since Gamefaqs usually hates her. Maybe it's because she's getting localized in Japan or something. Either way, there was a YouTube video about Shantae and the whole comment section was Shantae for Smash. NOTICE HER SAKURAI!

As am I. I may be okay with a Shantae Mii Fighter way after the polls close, but not before. That would be telling me that Shantae and Krystal didn't get even in the top 10 and I find that incredibly hard to believe.

TheRickyWill, it looks like those turtles are about to be mating, so I think Shantae's expression of "Awww, turtles in love, how cute!" will quickly turn to "OMG! CRAZY TURTLE PENIS!" and running away. :p

I knew someone was gonna say that. Actually, a turtle's reproductive parts are in their tails.

I had a teacher who owned 5 turtles (4 Male, 1 female, who they didn't mess with) that normally climbed ontop of eachother, either to hitch a ride out of laziness or ruin the other turtle's sunbath. It's normal for turtles to stack. It's most common for them to do this when they're in captivity, mainly because there's less sunlight to go around.

I just typed in "Turtle Stack" on Google and I got these. Turtles are very entertaining animals to watch.

Hello guys! I'm soooooo late but like SOOOOOOOOO late but count me as a supporter! I love all the Shantae games (especially the orginal for the GBC) and I already voted for her! I really like to see her getting to much love :D

But the Giga Mermaid is chained up it looks like. Maybe she'll become an ally when you beat her. Shantae could free her.

As for the other mermaids, maybe they are just pranksters or very territorial.

I applaud Shantae, because it's probably the best example of Mermaids designed and portrayed in media based on the original myth.

They're fish and somewhat humanoid, there's no way they'll have human skin on em'.

I just like how these mermaids actually look like they could be in the ocean with their scaley bodies. I always had this nitpick with merfolk like the little mermaid, cause being that far underwater with mammal skin calls for some blubber warmth ASAP.

Monster Musume's merfolk have a mucus membrane on their skin to keep them warm so that's kinda interesting. Plus, they have gills on their sides too.
