I'm actually amazed the game was even referenced in SSB4. A shame, that means he could've actually been playable maybe. Seems like a really cool potential character, and one alot of people were actually vying for.
That's my thing. Sucks for people who wanted him, but found it weird he even showed up.

Well, at least now I know I can support him for SSB5/6, so that's cool. Since most of my wanted characters are probably showing up in this one, a new bunch would be cool to have.

Agreed. The game was published exclusively on the Wii U, but it was developed by Platinum, which I don't believe Nintendo owns. It's surprising to even see him in Smash 4, but I suppose that's due to it being only available on the Wii. They've done that in the past as well.

As far as I know Wonderful 101 is owned by Nintendo halfway through. The other half is Platinum Games. It is similar to Golden Sun and Nintendo and Camelot. And that again is similar to Pokemon and Game Freak. It only means Nintendo cannot push them through alone but which developer would not want his franchise be represented in Smash Bros?
