I just realized, while vote counts have no purpose in the kill, they are great for info. This allows it to be thoroughly clear if the king is jot listening town and gives villagers viable ways to check this.

We should definitely do it. Does the mod HAVE to check our votes though? They really serve no purpose to the game's core.

Whoever feels like answering, how do you guys feel about chibo being uneducated in the game?

Whoever said this, I think it was soup, why would duder be a good choice for king? Isn't it a bit early to announce that?

More than enough to know how to play the game.

I think this is my 7th or 8th game, or something like that. I've done a few in the BBR, and a few out here in DGames.

As for the voting business, I don't see any real downside to using it as a means of tracking the general opinion of the Town, but I don't believe the King should feel compelled to listen to the votecount to the strictest degree.

There's going to be 3 scum voting, so it's not like it's going to matter too much. Connections will be more important than the actual "votecount".

Votecounts in these types of games have literally screwed up town every single time we've ever tried it in the past and trust me I have been in plenty of them and read the remainder of them.

As tom said, even when its used correctly its not a bad or a good thing. It's completely neutral. When its used incorrectly it's terrible for town. We aren't using it.

Scum can fake trails all too easily in this type of game because, derp, the king is the one who makes the final decision and we are already prompting him to not listen to votecounts at all. And he shouldn't.

if you only take one thing away from this post, let it be that your opinion on trying to implement a voting system is not pro-town, and it is not anti-town. it is a null tell. if it becomes the only thing you are talking about, or if you try to use it as leverage to convince the king to kill another player, you are dumborscum.

Just seems like a dumb argument. J doesn't want Soup posting in flavour-speak for whatever reason. I'm not seeing where any "case" came in, though, so in that regard I'm agreeing with J. Not really seeing what the point of that "conflict" was at all.

As for whether or not I think Soup should change his posting style, I don't particularly care. I have no problem actually reading and understanding it, but I can see how he could use it to fluff his posts up. It'd probably be better if he stopped, but I don't PERSONALLY care.

You're twisting my words.

Finding it entertaining doesn't imply I would want him to continue, because I understand it has the POTENTIAL to be a detriment to the game.

When I say I don't "PERSONALLY care", I mean that I have no major stake in either result, so I don't particularly care whether he continues or stops.

If he DOES start using it simply to post fluff, I'll call him out on it, but I don't have a problem with it if it isn't abused.

Allow me to rephrase:

Old soup would be annoyed with beat easier but i do not see anything much wrong with beat and in fact like him.

Raziek is scummy, he was quick to apologize over his own opinion and is over-compensating things.
