I have been perusing...

It seems the forbidden word amongst Falco players is none other than:

Peach

Is this because no one plays against any talented peaches, or because no one wants to talk about their matches with said evil-vixens?

Yes, Peach can only be good if the person using her is good, or if the Falco can't play that good.

I think that the hard match up is Falco vs. Jiggly. Now thats hard!. You can't pillar combo her, the lasers can't hit her if she goes flying or crouch (unless you got good timing of your lasers), and she can rest your Falco anytime.

I want to expect better of you, but I know not to
Marth, Jiggs, and ICs are all way more dangerous than Peach. Hell, Peach on Brinstar is even overrated.
not sure about IC's, I find good ICs and good Peaches about equally difficult to fight. I'll definately agree that Marth is the biggest problem for Falco, followed by Jiggs, but IC's aren't any worse to fight than Peach once you get the hang of Lcanceling against 2 shields.

Jiggs isn't that bad either >_>;

Just get out of dumb habits like trying to shield grab or something and do alot of full jump bairs on her. You cant just SHL towards her and Short hop an aerial or something lol you just have to play really campy and be careful with your spacing.

It's a tedious matchup but when you get the general hang of it it isn't horrible either.

I still hate ICs with a burning passion though -_-

Young Link is obviously Falco's biggest counter.
*hanki* is falco's biggest counter. haha.

peach is different to fight then most characters which the majority of falco players dont adapt to well. but once you get past that i dont think its that bad either, i would agree that a jiggs is more scary

Hence why I made sure to say "dangerous" as opposed to "hard." Missing the DI against an IC dsmash after 40-50 is probably more threatening to Falco than taking hits from Peach's dsmash or letting yourself fall into her grab.

Y. Link is definately not a counter, and the matchup is in Falco's favor, but it's like, 60/40 at the top levels and D20 is literally too good. Too bad fox and CF **** Y. Link's face off :-\
LOL, crazy pwnage.

Also, Alan. Peach grab at 30+% = very bad news, we just don't have good peaches in Pittsburgh.
Then don't get grabbed -- same as the IC match-up.

You should avoid getting grabbed in both the IC and Peach match-up, but:
-IC grab is far deadlier
-IC grab works in almost all scenarios

You should avoid the dsmash in both the IC and Peach match-up, but:
-IC dsmash is far more likely to kill, especially at lower percents
-IC dsmash is far easier to hit with due to their excellent wavesmashing, their two seperate hitboxes, and their potential to get hit but still have the other climber smash in time

ICs are more dangerous.

Thats a big false. But ICs are still more feared than Peach.
I find this weird. Miss the DI on an IC dsmash after 50 and the wicked trajectory combined with fastfalling will kill you if you're hit too close to the edge, and put you in a really terrible position regardless. With good DI, IC dsmash is still very lethal at higher percents. Peach's dsmash, on the other hand, has a more lobbing trajectory that keeps it from killing until higher percents than the low-trajectory IC dsmash. I know from my experience at least that an IC dsmashes have killed me far, far earlier than Peach's.

As an IC main, I find Falcos hard to fight. We have a hard time dealing with projectiles and not to mention, I can't powersheild consistently so SHL pretty much locks me down. Of course, sometime you'll miss a smash or I'll shield it and then desynch out of shield and commence the ****. LOL

As a Young Link main, I find Falcos difficult to deal with. That mostly because I don't projectile spam though so I'm not play him properly. Of course, i find it really easy to combo a falco though and then end it with a Dsmash.

Hell, I think Falco ***** all of my mains. Ness, GaW, IC, and YLink. :( I hate falco... :(
