although I dont have any problem with the infinite, I am a little depressed that many of the new IC players picked them up because of it. I think anyone who has been an IC for more than a few months remembers when we all used to talk about new chaingrabs we found, not just the infinite. I'm not syaing to never use it but, what do you do in friendlies? grab your friend 4 times and end the game? I would hate to see the fun (although not as brutally effective) chaingrabs die and so I think I'll list alot of the older and probably less familiar chaingrabs. Next time you start f-tilt -> headbutting your friend, try some of this instead:

*some of these arent chaingrabs, just cool desynch out of throws


D-throw:
-good ol' dair chain

-dthrow chaingrab w/ d-smash

- sh ice block chain

- reverse dair chain

- tap reset

- fair tap reset

- d-throw -> u-tilt/smash -> grab

-edge infinite

f-throw:
- fthrow -> nanapult (I just discovered this actually )

- fthrow -> nana dash attack -> grab

- fthrow -> nana extended grab (dont know if this really works, just shameless self-promotion ) dosent work

b-throw:

bthrow -> nana ice block -> form here oyu can tech chase, grab em, smash em, or if they tried to di forward on your dair chain, they get sent into the ice block chain.

b-throw -> jab. according to wobbles, its a good set up for the edge infinite

I have nothing against the infinite except for the fact that it isnt any fun so juts play around with these if your not in the world championship match. also, tell me if I missed any big ones.

well you don't have dthrow dsmash though it's just really an accelerated regular dthrow chain

Oh, I still do chaingrabs.
I do the infinite occasionally to tack on that extra 30% or so I need to KO someone.

Try b-throw - jab. It's actually an interesting way to set up the ledge chaingrab, since Nana will recover and try to grab before you can.

also, bthrow bair. if you do it right it gives you a free bair which is a fancy way to finish a match if they have higher %

ther isnt actually a world championship match, I just meant unless your in a huge tourney.
The closest we've probably ever come to a world champ match was that thing that ken and manacloud held where Japanese came over, forgot the name of it.

what's the nanapult chain?

I just discovered it the other day when I messed up the reverse dair chain. it seems to work at almost any percentage, just f-throw, but hold forward so that nana runs then hit x and b-down. she will nanapult and you go grab them again/smash them.

How about up throw to nana bair? Popo throws oponent up and nana jumps and bairs them. You have to have nana jump before he's thrown. The timing is pretty easy.

d-throw with popo near the edge and time right to catch opponent with nana. if your near the edge enough naan will always throw forward, when she does that, catch with popo. repeat.
