yeah NG is a reallly good place... except when they have magic, or yugi tourney... then the whole store is packed i really mean the WHOLE store lmfaooooooo but eyah its good, and that sucks the cyber games gotta close, it was the only place i could get 2 in 10 min -_- lol

Yeah, I know where that place is at. I used to go there and enter for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG touries. It's still kickass.

Last I went there, (which was a few weeks ago) the prices were

$2 - 30 min.

$3 - 1 hour.

so yeah, we'll be saving a bit more money to play there then what we did at Cybergames.

uh we wouldnt do nyclan on fridays cuz tht would conflict with the Kf weeklies. but anyway like i said there are no definates yet. im gonna go to NG tomorow ask the owner or watever and see wat we can get. if we cant do it there we will try nyclan.

ALSO VERY IMPORTANT: THEY ONLY HAVE ONE GAMECUBE ONE COPY OF SMASH AND NO MEMORY CARD.

if ur coming please bring one of those 3 things. unless everyone plans on using all the stock characters. just a memory card if possible and we can at least get one T.V.

Firstly, I feel slightly more emo then I did before. If not, more.

second, even though people had fun at NG, there was a price issue.

Remember how when you pay for a TV and as long as you pay for it, it's still yours (and you get to share it with your friends)

That was not the Issue at NG

Apparently, you have to pay $3 an hour on the TV and $3 more for each person that played, even if they were your friends and such. 8 People played. Since we played for two hours, plus 8 people, which was $31.00 in total? Shocked, confused? We were. I'll break it down for you

$3 X 8 people + 2 hours ( $3 an hour) = 31.00

Yes. we argued a bit, but me and Shin decided to pay for it.

So yeah, it was totally emo.

Other then that though we still had fun.

yea we definatly aint gonin back to that ****ty *** place. Monday im gonna go to Nyclan and see what they have 2 offer in terms of settin up tourneys there. NG is very gay and very expensive.

i wuldnt count on this weekly for a little while but every wednesday ill still be doing friendlies anyway. ill keep everyone updated as to where they will be.

I dunno if they'll do touries. For more then one reason

1) They run both Biweeklies and do tourtuments a few months a time. They will not let us do a toury so small.

It just...is not a good idea. We could just treat it as a friendly spot for all of us, you know?

I wouldent worry about tournaments to be honest. you already have KF / Da tournaments and i'm sure theres going to be alotta of big tournaments this summer. Besides another tournament = more money spent and not every smasher has enough cash flow to spend on multiple tournies.

Neutral Ground is actually a pretty good venue to hold ur weeklies. How u let them charge u $31.00, i'll never know. But Rockin told me that u guys played for 2hrs. that means that 2hrs for 4 players, the most that should have been payed is $24.00 ($6.00)

And since there was more than 4 people alternating on and off the game, you guys should have split the $24.00 evenly between all of you. i believe you have NG think that all of you were just playing when u should specified that u guys were sharing and there was no way that more than 4 people can play on a cube at a time.. <_<

i go there all the time and trust me when i say that NG prices are less than W2Z and NyClan's.

Yeah, that might've been the case.

He was gonna let us off with just 22.00, but the actual real price was 31.00. Now, don't get me wrong, most to half (including luck) was offering to pay their share, but they didn't have that much, because they wasn't prepared with the huge price (especially Luck, since he be adding in 2 dollars and such at Cybergames), so me and Shin decided to pay for it, since we had the most money (if anything, i was about to pay the whole thing solo XD)

Now Luck, NG isn't a really bad store. I used to go over there all the time. Most of them are really nice. Really, we just wasn't prepared for the prices. If we ever decided to go down there again, we'll be at least more prepared. All we need to do though, is that each person brings in 3 dollars to save the trouble, you know?
