Lol Muscle cars are so lame. They are just all like LISTEN TO MY ENGINE OH YEAH. WANT TO DRAG. NO BECAUSE DRAGGING IS ****. I would rather drift where it's at. OH WAIT YOU CAN'T DRIFT LOL.
Wow you obviously know absolutely nothing about cars, what a suprise.

Your do realise that there are drift cars used in national competitions that are muscle cars right? ._.

Especially in American D1 where around half of them are Mustangs and GTOs.

Arrow stop posting, you're just sounding more and more ******** >_>

The S2000 is a great car imo with it's looks, perfect weight distribution, FR drivetrain and VTEC engine =)

DC2 is overrated buy still not a bad car, just not as amazing as most people say it is when they judge it by it's looks =P

Lotus always makes great cars, so underrated too considering it's power/weight distribution =)

My old boss used to own a dc5 Type R. Never used to like them until recently.
Gran Turismo 4 let me make all the cars I ever wanted. Also where I found my love for lotus's.

Bit of a japanfan in the cars department.

When I have a steady job down I will look into actually getting an s2000 though. Absolutely adore the thing. VTEC is always nice.

Everyone I talk to say they prefer the shape of the DC5 better than the DC2. I just hate the lights on the thing. DC2 is faster :D

The weight and aerodynamics are what makes a lotus quick, not the type of engine that is in it. Look at the Noble M600 for example which has a god**** Volvo engine in it, yet is destroys all those cars mentioned =P

Some people don't look for what is the fastest car for what price, some people just like the looks, handling or how comfortable the ride is =)

Don't get me wrong though, I do like the 300ZX (Z32 at least, Z31 is real bad imo)

I'm getting the s2000 purely because I'm sucker for honda's.

It will go fast enough. I'm not actually gonna be racing the thing. If someone pulls me up at the lights I'd be pretty confident in the 2000's engine to get me moving quite quickly. If not as quickly as the other car then at least I'll look fine whilst doing it.

Thing is sexy.

weight and aerodynamics cant beat raw power lol

and for the price of the mustang

it has the best power

best handling

and they say its verrry comfortable

and it has the looks

to be honest i prefer the australian cars

aka my dads g8 gxp

if he supercharges it, which is easy to get btw

almost 600 horses

and it corners like a bmw

cant beat that man

and yea z32 because the older ones are sooooo ugly

@karp

the s200 looks ok

but the 300zx looks way better imo

lets see a corner turning car do 0-60 in 3 seconds

or 2.5

imo

if your going to have a real world car, and not race the track

then you dont need it to be light and areodynamic.

power>all that junk

if your going to race on the highway, you dont need be able to turn quickly, because turns arent that sharp.

if your going to race at a stop light, you need power.

if your going to race track then sure you can have your miata (which would still get ***** by an a nice litte porsche with 500 hp :] )

im just sayin

Look i'm not saying your opinion is bad or anything, you obviously see cars in a different way then I do. You like straight lines, I like corners =)

Of course it would I was just using it as an example of how weight can be better then power =P

yea i know

that what sucks about cars

theres 2 ways to do them

fast or cornery

you can still do both with a porsche or a bmw lol

but idk

another thing is i like rwd way better the fwd or awd

i like to bring the tail around alooott

lol

i have an 02 grand cherokee v8

and when its in 2wd its rwd

so i have alooot of fun doing burn outs and stuff

fwd is so boring

No disrespect Jona. Racing for me is all about how fast you can do around a track.

With power comes weight. Also, if the powers not managed well your gonna have wheel spin.

I watch a lot of top gear. Too much. If you look at the times posted on their board (ignoring of course the 3 million $ supercars) all of the beefy muscle is bottom of the board. The Lotus Exige sits around the middle and has a quarter the engine size.

Getting to 60 in 2.5-3 seconds is all well and good, but if you have to slow to a crawl or throw the back out to make it round the bend then what's the point?

That all taken into account, I adore the 68 Dodge Charger R/T.

and i totally agree with that.

ive seen every episode of top gear too lol, im downloading the new episodes as they come out.

but to me, if your not racing the track everyday or for a living, then i dont care about turns.

so like i said, i would much rather have the power.

that way if we meet on the highway, bye bye

and ive dont street racing for my uncle since i was 16

i drove his 300zx tt for 500 a race (1/4 mile)

i think i was doing 11.2 ? at like 135 or something like that

that thing felt like it was awd in the corners

it put out like 550@ the wheels

you can almost always have the best of both worlds

with the right car

MX5's are nice too.

Like driving on rails.

I do like RWD Jona, you can have the most fun in them. But, if your street racing on say actual streets (not just highways) and come to a 90 degree blind corner you're gonna be alot more confident in anything but a something with more horses than sense.

i was saying how a car can have the HP and still corner well.

about the 300zx tt

it pulled really hard

but turned well

theres some cars that have the best of both worlds

the v6 turbo'd cars are the middle ground of the i4s and the big v8s

edit: heres your s2000 lmao

I hate porche's with a burning passion.
I don't know why, I never will.

I'll admit that they are brilliantly engineered cars. They look fine.

I just hate them.

The bugatti is so very boring. It has never really caught my intrest.

I have to admit i'm not a huge fan of Porches either.

I like how the Veyron was purely created to show what modern automotive engineering can do, I mean Bugatti LOSE money every time they make one so you have to at least respect them for doing that

I must be the only guy in the whole word who doesn't know a thing about cars

:(

"Hi store clerk, I'd like to refund my Manliness. Store credit, please."

Though I would say that the 350Z and Celica are my favourite cars that I see everyday. For high end stuff I like Aston Martins or whatever you call them. Saw a Lotus around the asian slums the other day; was confused why it was here lol

The DB9 is by far the best looking car available on the market today.

I don't mind the 350z, I think its a tad "overused" if that makes any sense.
If I see one I immediately know everything I need to about the guy driving it. Him and his personalised 'witty' numberplate.

One of several reason I wouldn't like to own a nice car. I'd feel pretentious.

im going to have to say that the murcielago (670) is a much better looking car.

and what do you mean you know everything about the guy driving it?

your stereotyping people, and we all know that even if there is some truth to stereo types

thats not always the case

like saying that everyone that drives a bmw is a douche

my dad had an 06 330i

he had to work his butt off for it

he grew up in the worst area where i live and his family was always poor

idk i dont agree with that

I don't stereotype people who own a certain car, you judge them by their actions in the car =P

picture time =)

RX7 FD3S (for anyone who doesn't know)

Aston Martin DBR9

Comparison of 350z and 370z (aka why I think the 370z is a much better car =P)

DBR9 is king. Also because side exhausts are hot.

As to my stereotyping comment, I'll put it this way:
When you see a Suzuki Swift on the road and you pass them, are you surprised when it isn't a 20 something female?
