It's.. realistic.. not corny ninjas or death gods with 400 episodes of ****.
i approve of realistic animes that end around 25 eps (sometimes 50, only if it's really good though.) All stories need closure!! dragging a good thing for too long ruins everything.
By "realistic", i mean, i like it to make some kind of universal sense. Giant flying robots shooting laser beams isn't exactly "realistic", but as long as really crazy random BS doesn't happen, I can deal with it. (for example, giant flying robot pilot gets shot at, explodes and dies, resurrects as some sort of neo-cybervillain....... somehow!!!)
Think of "Death Note". I watched it about halfway before quitting, never finished it. It just annoyed me when every show basically sounded like this
L: "Well, once again, all of the evidence presented to me and all of the detective work I've done is completely and undeniably pointing at someone else.............
