So, just to do a quick check on that, I went to ssbwiki. (Which granted, might not have 100% correct information). I'm not really sure what the "Golden Age" of Brawl would be considered, but 2010 has the most Nationals including the MLG's, so I'm going to go by that.For the record I don't think the melee community killed brawl... I think the brawl community killed itself. Brawl was a VERY popular game competitively, people like to shrug that off, but it was on MLG too. It had tournaments that rival the numbers we are seeing for melee now.

I merely meant to objectively compare the numbers, and I'll let you guys draw whatever conclusions you want from them.I don't think he was putting down Brawl's numbers. He was merely saying that they barely compared to Melee's numbers even when taking out "outliers".
