I don't think I'll be going to Lynwood. I have absolutely no photo ID except for my GoCard which I doubt will work.

I don't have my drivers lisence anymore because my mom kinda... forgot where she put it... Bans me from the car AND loses my liscence

I also have to go get make myself a passport incase I need it to go to 0C2 and stuff.
Eric find out if you can go!!!!111!1! Don't really want to buy a passport if i'm not going anywhere. Mom would yell at me too... saying that I'm going to Cali so I need a passport and then not go.

Your gocard would work as a secondary/photo ID. But to be sure you would probably need something else more official, ... don't have your citizenship stuff?

Yea I have my Citizenship card but I though I would need like a better photo ID.
I have birthcertificate/Citizenship and stuff but no picture ID.

One thing that's confirmed: My mom cannot take both of you, and I know Eric's mom is veryy anal about Eric's safety, and I respect that, but John, on the other hand, is more flexible into coming with me to OC2.

Just to make sure: Where IS Lynwood? And what is this 'Gameclucks' i'm hearing about? Is it a noob store? Canada or the US?

John, remember, I get the dibs on the Red Mario Controller, and you get dibs on the Green Luigi Controller, and Eric and Adam are gonna have to FIGHT for the yellow Wario COntroller =D

Gameclucks seems to be a store in the US where they hold tournaments for SSBM. I beleive it takes 3 hours to get from here to Seattle, so it should be around 3h to get to Lynnwood.

John, they're VERY anal about photo ID. When I went to Portland for Robotics this year, I showed my Go Card and SIN card and they said no. So I had to take my passport out. BRING YOUR PASSPORT! I'm pretty sure it's required to get in the States now. Stupid paranoid people -_-;

k.. here is the official word on what you need:


* Canadian Passport (strongly recommended), or
* Certificate of Canadian Citizenship, or
* Birth certificate (original or certified) or Canadian Certificate of Registration of Birth Abroad PLUS unexpired government-issued photo identification* such as a provincial driver's license or provincial health insurance card (this documentation may subject the passenger to additional questioning at the border).

* Photo identification is not required for a child under 18 accompanied by his or her parent or legal guardian. Proof of citizenship is still required in all cases.

Still waiting on the word on Eric because 0C2 is getting closer and I still want to know if I should go make myself a Passport I think it takes 2 weeks to acually get it after signing up for one.

Pretty much since it's come out but we haven't had the parties since day 1, we started doing that a couple months ago. But we all played it a lot individually.
13/14, and seeing our age we would have to go on a joyride to drive.
5 of us.
Maybe, I would have to talk it over with the rest of them.

Nick, I don't think you understand... I have known this woman (my mother) for over 19 years now; and in that time I have learned a few things...

She's already made it VERY clear that she won't let Eric go v_v. I sat down with her a few weeks back and talked with her about it and did my very best to persuade her to let him come. She just won't allow it...

Today, for the first time in a very very long time, I watched pro smash vids. I think it did me good. Anyways, all I can say is we've got a LOT of work ahead of us... Nick, willing to host anything? Apparently your house is central to everything and is easy for people to get to.

I think we'd get the most of our fests with more people there..
