Hey guys. I'm not too sure about creating a 'hi I'm new HUR HUR HUR' post so I'll make it more than that
It seems to me you guys all know each other rather well and all, hosting tourneys and get-togethers at houses. But what if we could make something bigger? Like renting out some larger venue for one day and smashing like mad? It could be a formal tourney or not, doesn't really matter. Just a suggestion.
Secretly, it's more because I live out in Langley xD and making some kinda solid event would definitely bring me out there and maybe others who are kinda scattered outside vancouver/burnaby/richmond.
Oh, and if anyone goes to SFU, please be aware that there is smash happening virtually every day on campus unless someone's using the GC for MonkeyBall Or Resident Evil4 xD

Welcome new smashers! I think it best if you... more or less introduced yourself so we can, you know, call you by your name etc. It would be nice to know where y'all live, too, in case you wanna get some smash action.
John's the biggest noob in the world, he can't even Lcancel with Fox. He'll **** me though.
If you guys are just starting out, it would make sense to play with each other first if you're scared of getting beat up. God, we're not THAT good, pretty much only Tiep, Eric, Adam, Ryan, and Adam.
Search up the B.C. Canada Smash Power Rankings thread to see who's currently ranked well in BC.
With a whole bunch of new smashers, I think maybe it would be nice to make some sort of list in the first page? But I don't mean just their SWF name... maybe their city [if they choose to give this info out]?

I Just played a ton of smash to the point where my pointer finger has a blister on it from chain grabing aids fox to much, and my newly improved tech chasing grabing bull**** (I have gotten good at chasing afew chars ^^) i think someone should host a smashfest this week !!!! i would but my house is out of the way and not properly set up for it imo. but i could have a small one sometime if people dont mind coming all the way out to white rock

John has a solid understanding and application of the knowledge he so vigorously acquired in
his first 6 months or so of the game. He preforms pretty consistently and is a challenge for even the best of smashers. Just use a good character and play smart. (John correct me if I was inaccurate with any of this).
What do you consider to be "pro"? I'd say Eric, Ryan, and John could be considered pro for sure. Probably Tiep and myself (assuming I've been keeping up with practice and such) as well. Manuel with more tourney exp I would consider pro as well I dunno, it's a fine line. We have a handful of GOOD players.
Hey dude. Welcome to the boards. One thing I should let you know. My brother and I have been hosting successful, well run, respectably high pot $$ tournies for about 3 years now. We are probably the most recognized tourney hosters in the lower mainland where u have the opportunity to play the BEST players in the area. I'm not counting out schools and companies organizing events, they just usually don't have a professional ruleset and aren't as known by the smash community. In a nutshell, probably gunna have to come out to Richmond most of the time to get PRO tourney experience.Hey guys. He destroys innocent Marth bystanders, and eats young Falcos for breakfast. He participates in a daily exercise routine involving the use of a space animal, a down air, an upsmash, and a forward air.
