Could I get some tips or info on doing a shine to bair? (or nair)

Like what percentages does it work at and the best way to do it (would it be easier to use the control stick or a button to jump?)

Whenever I play Falco I always have trouble double shining them up to a bair or other aerial attack.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It's funny I was practicing shine b-air for an hour today after a wake n bake.

The best way I found to practice this is to set player 2 with handicap 9 and damage ratio to 0.5 and make yourself handicap 1 obviously.

Go to FD or something, Use your control stick to jump, use your C-STICK to attack it might be easier to use the bottom of your thumb so you can alternate quickly with B button and C-stick and you can move in closer with the control stick.

So

Down(Control stick) + B >> Up (Control stick) >> B-air (C-stick) >> Move towards opponent/Fastfall (Control stick) >> L-cancel repeat.

When you use the control stick try not to press it all the way down when you shine so you can jump out quicker from the shine.

Also make sure you understand the lag times with the hitstuns so practice doing it fast on the air first. Then practice on a player (With hitstun now so slow down) then practice on a shielding opponent.. tape down your other controllers shield button a bit or something lol or even use starman since it has the same propertys as a shield (With hitstun+shieldstun so time it well now)

You guys forgot to mention it works on any percent...although it was probably implied. (I was too lazy to read your guys' posts thoroughly to find out. Sue me.)

All that is necessary from your opponent is bad DI and good shine placement on your part. (Even though it's obvious, hit the very tip of the shine so they fly up a little.)
