Well, I had a lovely time cooking today. No really, it was splendid ^__^
It all started with my mom asking me to cook....





Mom: Darren can you cook up those hamburgers today
Me: k

*Walks over to the BBQ*

Me: =D
Me: This'll be easy
BBQ: >__>
Me: O__o

*Tries to turn on BBQ*
*Doesn't work*

....

Hmm....so I fiddle around with the gas line and get it working. Yay!




*Throws hamburgers onto the grill*
*Turns BBQ to full blast*

Me: ^__^

Approximately 5 minutes pass before I return to flip the now thawed hamburgers




Me: ^__^

*Opens BBQ*

BBQ: D:<

*Looks at the semi-burnt hamburgers*

......

Me: Uh.... I can still fix this

*Turns BBQ to half power!*

Me: I'll just keep a closer eye on these ^__^

*Returns 3 minutes later*

BBQ: D:<
Me: O__O

*Looks at the now burnt hamburgers*

Me: uh.... ****.
Me: At least some of them are ok

*Turns the BBQ to super low power*


So I check back after about 3 minutes just to flip them ^__^



*Opens BBQ*

BBQ: >:D
Me: wtf

*Stares down the completely blackened hamburgers*


Me: T__T
BBQ: >:3
Me: >__>


So I decide to finally take them off the grill being the intelligent person that I am.
I bring my plate full of charbroiled patties into the house and show my mom


Me: K I finished cooking the hamburgers
Mom: Ah good

*Notices mom looking at the plate of hamburgers in my hand*

Mom: .....
Me: Imma good cook right? ^__^
Mom: xD
Mom: Um...I'll eat later, I'm gonna take a nap
Me: k lol
Me: ^__^

Luckily ! managed to spare 2 hambugers. They're still a bit blackened, but completely edible, so I gave those ones to her. I get the other ones. I'll let you know how it is once I decide to eat it.

Wow, that must have hurt peachy.

I find cooking relaxing, when you cook, you can mix up ingredients, for example, when making pancakes, I mix in bananas in the pancakes to add flavor .

♡But experiences like that help you become a better cook, so when that happens....you know you'll try harder next time!

♡Oooo...and I love trying out new ingredients for dishes. It's like a science experiment, with trial and error. Some fabulous dishes may come out....while others...not so much.
