That really sucks. I can see people getting harassed if the person always got first (since people usually like seeing the upset), but Sinz just got here. Guess Utah wanted to vent their anger from all the trash talk from NM.

Big tourneys usually have like a 5 dollar venue fee (or 3, which I think may be more appropriate for a house, since you don't really have to rent it out..) and then by bringing a set up you waive the venue fee. That's a really good encouragement for people to bring setups.

I remember wangston telling me about a tourney where they had the waived venue fee for bringing a setup, and like two thirds of the people brought a setup, and it was one of the fastest, most smoothly ran tourneys.

So I say lower entrance fees to 10 and then add a 3 or 5 dollar venue fee that gets waived by bringing a setup.

LOL I should come to this. Brawl+ sounds really fun.

The only problem is, I'd need money to get back to Utah. If twenty Smashers donate 10 dollars, I'll come. Seriously.
I'm saving up my own money for Banzai ,which is the same month.

And having Melee would be pretty awesome too.

15 honestly isn't that much for a regional. Plus, you can get the venue fee waived by bringing a setup. That's what the venue fee would be there for; to get people to bring setups so we can get it running as fast and smooth as possible.

And Minato, a TON of tourneys run pools and bracket and still finish with plenty of time left. It's usually only the really really huge tourneys that have that problem. We just need to make sure to be organized and have plenty of setups.

Don't know if I'd be able to go this; it's just wishful thinking on my part I guess. My main concern is money... or being stranded. And I'm not confident in my Smash skills as a whole to make any money. Maybe I could make money off of Blazblue and SSB. XD
