After watching the videos, I'm disappointed in Phillipe. He got ***** pretty badly. I wonder if he just sucks in teams? He hit his partner over, and over, and over again. Lol.

Ok .Tero...I watched your first match. Your short hop laser approach was a good idea. You created quite a few openings. But the problem is you never punished Sheik when she created those openings. At 00:10 Sheik threw out a forward tilt and it missed. That was your chance to run in and grab her. In my opinion, you have a very jumpy Fox. You are doing a lot of full jumping, and you got punished for it a few times. I mean its ok to full jump sometimes, but just reduce it. Rely on Fox's short hop ,long wavedash, and fluent dash dance to move around your opponent.

I'd also recommend you to practice waveshining backwards. You just give your opponent breathing room when your shine pushes them behind you and you simply jump cancel it. Try and use dash attack less as well. If a dash attack hits, preferably at high percents, you can usually hit your opponent wit a up smash, full jump nair, or uair. In the case of Sheik, I believe either one of those methods would have sufficed, depending on her DI. You also use up smash at random times, and a lot. Work on landing those.

Good job in removing Sheik's second stock. Be careful when recovering you used your illusion a lot. Remember, just because your opponent doesn't punish you for it doesn't make it unpredictable . But at the same time, if they can't stop you then I suppose it couldn't hurt. Nonetheless, I think it was worth noting how many times you used it. Your laser game is good, but me personally, I'd use a bit more SHHFL aerial pressure.

Match #2

Up throw to up smash isn't a very good combo to use on Sheik. Try and aim for uairs, even if you have to short hop it. Around 00:30 you got Sheik and you then ran away. Running away simply gives your foe breathing room. Stay close and apply pressure. You should really learn to wavedash out of your shield. At 00:49 you could wavedashed out of your shield to grab, for the uair ****. Again, less short hop lasers, more SHHL aerials.

Overall you are pretty cool. Your movement is extremely smooth/sexy. I look forward to future vids. :-)

I just quoted myself from the Q&A thread:

RaynEX is out of the country for 2 more weeks. I'll watch these soon.

Edit: Not bad. Everyone has things they can improve on.

- your major thing you need to work on is your combo game. You keep landing single hits with no follow-up, or you completely miss the next attack. They don't have to be like 0-death combos, but getting 2-4 hits at a time is good enough.

- land hits after a throw (obviously).

- You need to grab more and take advantage of your openings. Your opponent is open often, due to bad approach, or jumping, but you either run away and laser, stand there, or throw out a laggy move (up-smash, or dash attack).

- You need to dash attack less (or not at all). Grab, or nair instead.

- Work on your movement at close range, to force openings. You put yourself in shield a lot and then try to attack. Shiek's auto-cancel makes it really hard for you to punish. WD out of shield away from her (or occasionally roll away, so that she doesn't hit you).

- work on your technical consistency (not missing L-cancels)

- Either camp better, or don't do it at all. otherwise it will get you punished all the time, from big openings that you make on yourself.

- also, don't stop moving. You're a sitting duck that way.
I'll watch doubles now.

Edit: I don't have any good advice for teams. Good co-ordination makes a team good. You guys need to help each other double team, when one opponent is off of the stage.

Also, shine is soooooooo gay in teams.
