Tech in place-shine...

THIS IS RUINING MY LIFE

i cant believe how annoying it can be,ive been playing the best falco i have seen so far since i started playing,and my falcon gameplay is all around tech chases and reading rolls,but this guy doesnt let me even breathe with lazers and when i get near him he ccs anything i throw him-shine except dairs(he just ****ing shields them) and when i finnally get a **** grab he teches in place-shines so **** fast that i simply cannot do **** about it,i try to bait him into doing it and he just knows it,he has the best shines combos ive seen and he can 0-death me fom a single one without a **** i can do.

what i can do about it? ive tried powershielding his lazers but i cannot do it as consistently to make it work most times,and it seems i cannot tech chase him over 2 times because he rolls-shines my grabs(i jc EVERY one of my grabs,should i stop doing that or something?)

im actually very good at tech chasing now,but i dont know how he does it,i will get some vids up when i have time to see if you can give me some more advice or if im doing somehing wrong

You have to guess the tech in place. There is no other real way around it. Just remember if you do get a tech in place to see if he changes it up the next time. Just make sure your actually timing your hit for the tech in place and not just guessing tech in place and attacking with no timing.

When you dair you should be moving so that the dair hits with movement so they can't grab you or shine you when it's not a tech chase.

He shouldn't be able to tell if your going to wait for the spotdodge or not unless your doing something predictable with your tech chases that he can read. My guess is your probably doing some type of DD pattern that he knows he can just roll to avoid your grab after getting up and if your in the air he just shields instead and does stuff OoS.

If he continually is teching in place you should be wombo'ing him. If he is going to tech in place you can get hit him with some great combo starters like Up-Smash or Stomp.

I'm not awesome at handling lasorz myself but I can tell you utilizing wavelanding and other platform techniques is a great way to close in space while avoiding lasorz.

There are hellaaaa ways to punish techs in place

spaced fsmash should cause the shine to miss
stomp
raptor boost
upsmash if you have fast reactions
shffl a knee

tech in place -> shine is not totally without being vulnerable
depending on his % you have many options which can allow for predictions which can very well lead into your own 0-death combo's

as a samus main I find many falco's do tech in place, and I'm able to catch them more often than not with a dtilt, which sets up nicely for another hit of my chosing.
