Teams D-Smash infinite lock!

Here's something I had thought was possible in some way, but haven't perfected it until just now. Well I was playing teams with Eli against C4 and um...sorry I forgot the other guys name :(, and we discovered how to chain a single opponent infinitely. Anyway, when it's 2 on 1, if your teammate grabs the opponent and continues to jab, you can instantly Down smash them as they break out. Then your teammate can re-grab, and the cycle continues. I'm not 100% on whether or not this works with every character or if it's legitimately infinite yet, but I think it's easier if your teammate is one of the characters that can infinite grab Lucas/Ness such as Marth. You can even D-smash the opponent while they're being jabbed, but just be careful that you don't hit your teammate.

Edit: this may also be possible with the paralyzer shot, but I haven't tried that yet, and the stun on the D-smash is much better so it seems kind of moot.

Seems pretty pointless when you can just back-to-back jab and grab.
Well, yeah you could do that but.....Dammit Cake why'd you have to ruin it?! lol
But seriously I don't think that's completely infinite, this seems less likely to mess up with, and um well it looks so much more awesome :dizzy:

I also think it does more damage, and once they're high enough you could double bair them or something insane like that.

Then it's pretty much pointless.
How is it pointless when it's an infinite? Even if there are alternate ways of doing it I don't see how it's not worth mentioning.
Know what's pointless? Your complaints. I try to help people out, and all you seem to do is meatride Claw.

There's a risk involved in something that can be done in a different way with 0 risk. Also, I'm not complaining. You seem to be the one complaining that you're taking criticism. Well guess what, we all have to deal with it. So suck it up and stop attempting to come back with empty insults.

What's the point in arguing about an argument?

It's a technique. If you don't think it's useful, don't use it. If you do think it's useful, use it! I honestly don't think the rest of us give a flying **** about personal crap or others opinions on its usefulness, and only care if it's applicable in a real match.

Hence why I'm explaining why I don't think it's applicable in a match. And if nobody "gives a flying ****" you might want to rethink that statement after re-reading snakeee's posts.

Nobody else, then. And as for unapplicable, you've only talked about more useful techniques. Not made this unapplicable. I for one can see this being useful. Double dsmash does more than the other options if used properly. Will I use it? Maybe. If it fits the situation.

Other than actual application, it doesn't matter, and all either have you have given is hypotheticals, though Snakeee says he can show matches. Thus, I suspend disbelief in his favor.

Now stop whining at eachother and have some meaningful discussion, hm?

Fine. Personally I see this as too dangerous of a technique to waste time with, especially if you're just using it to beat up on someone in a 2v1. Ending discussion.

actually that's a lot harder because of zss's grapple grab. dsmash works better. i've been doing this with my team mate for a while now in 2v1s.

Hm, While this seems logical in teams, when Team attack is on, it will probably less usefull.
For obvious reasons.
