Tap Jump On or Off

I've been picking up Pit lately, as I enjoy the playing style. However, when I attempt to arrow loop, tap jump on messes me up a LOT and the arrow just flies away. Do Pit mains usually play with Tap Jump On or Off? Thanks.

off it messes with arrows and is just a pain in general it may take some getting used to but its worth it.

I leave mine on. It doesn't throw me off. Don't worry, though. I have one under the name "Dryn" where it is off, and I am capable of shielding by holding down the X button. I think I might turn off the X shielding, though, since that doesn't seem to work as well as I had hoped.

turn it off, u can always program any other button to jump if u really need 2 ways to jump.
