Basically, since most people are going to be stuck at home, I'll have this tournament in it's place.

http://allisbrawl.com/ttournament.aspx?id=8768

This will function as the weekly competition if you aren't stuck with some friends you can smash with.

Only the following states can enter: MD, VA, WV, PA, NJ, NY, DE

Rules and stuff are posted on the AiB site. It's all standard rules for the most part, if there is anything that needs to be clarified, please ask.

Obviously... It's because I stopped hosting them.

Remember, I used to host tournaments every weekend when there wasn't one. Now that my bi-weeklies are gone, you guys are on your own! That's why I told u guys to step it up with the hosting lolz.

Don't worry though, I have a feeling my bi-weeklies are coming back..... bigger and better than ever hehehehz :chuckle:

I'm also thinking about bringing back my ChuDat Dojo tournaments. Aside from the lack of space, I really liked the place. It had a projector, free use of internet whenever you want, and overall the tournament was just fun. If there is any interest in bringing back my Dojo tournaments, I'll contact the venue owner and start hosting them again.

^^We may have no choice, and we don't have any other venues in that area of Maryland, unless you get the Oxon Hill venue.

I have a whole big plan actually for this region that i've discussed with a whole bunch of people in terms of tournaments and hosting and stuff. We need to make sure we cover every area of Maryland and Virigina and start increasing attendance.

Less talk, more walk Tant =). Tant, if I decided to bring back my Dojo tournaments, would you continue to Co-host them with me?

Lil B - The Dojo venue was too good! There were also places to eat where you could walk to. Also, there was a vending machine AT THE VENUE. Aside from the space, I liked it XD.

Jove - Yeah, alright. I'll try hosting legit melee tournaments. Although, I think college park had that on lock down x_X. What happened? Anyway, I'll be monopolizing this area soon enough, LOLZ.

You guys should thank me for hosting tournaments all these years =). We have no more legitimate events since I left the tournament hosting scene. GIMR/Aposl need to step it up as TO's for this area since they have their VGBootCamp business going on.

chu, from the bottom of my heart, if you continue to do your dojo series, PLEASE don't do it at zig's place. there's a lan center in millersville called Lantastic XTREME or something that i was thinking of running a tourney out of, do them instead or something

because that place was just really difficult to function as a venue

Explain to me why it was difficult to function as a venue, other than space.

If you can get in contact with Lantastic XTREME and get them to let us hold tournaments there, then I'll be all for it.

SPACE MATTERS CHU! lol

I want to be able to move around and sit and play a match without bumping into everyone in the venue at once

The venue would be fine if we had space because it has all the other right stuff

nothing at all, to be honest, but the space was such a critical issue that i think it hindered the whole experience. there was an issue with setups when i went too, but that's the fault of the community more than the venue.
