Sypher's smashfest? AGAIN?! (1-11-08) (Northern VA)

wtf, i'm having another one.

this time, please bring setups because we will not have enough...

I have a decently big basement so there shouldnt be any problem with space. I have 2 TVs (even though one takes forever to get working), 1 GC, and 1 N64 w/ SSB64.

This time around, I don't have a recording VCR, but I guess that isn't so bad because I haven't been able to get any progress done on the other matches (from the previous smashfest) because my mom is sick and she doesn't want me coming over. Unfortunately, my computer, along with the capture card and VCR, is at her house

I have an composite cable splitter and extensions so we could theoretically hold a proper doubles tournament using two TVs. There is no more lag than directly hooking it up...so no johns. I've done a doubles tourney before and nobody has noticed, so don't ***** about it.

I also have a speaker system, and even though its small it can still blast music...>_>;;...but we don't have to have it on if anybody objects.

I'm the larger white house on the very left where the street ends.

I assume some of you will be driving yourselfs, so there needs to be a place to park. I suggest parking on Ranger Road, the street right before you turn into Cambridge.

Also, you should call me when you're close to my house because it can be hard to hear knocking on the door when we're in the basement and there is talking/music/smash/controller clicking going on.

The smashfest will be taking place on January 11th, from the hours of 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM. I'm not home until a little bit before that, so DO NOT COME EARLY, *******S.

well, i don't have the VCR here at my dad's place...but i could possibly stop by my mom's house on the way home from school tomorrow (actually today )...but i'm not sure if my dad would want to >_>;;

i still have tapes and stuff, so we're fine with time if we can record.


also: people! we now have 4 tvs, but only 3 cubes! someone needs to bring another!
