I've already posted this in the video forum but I thought people on the fox forum might be the most interested. I'm not the best Fox, but I feel it's an entertaining video nevertheless.

Here is the full description from the other thread:

This is the best and probably the last Melee video I have/will be making. I hesitate to call it a combo video, because some d-bag will come in here and tell me that every clip is not a combo. Fair warning, I am not a pro. If you are a lot better than me, you might not enjoy the gameplay. Hopefully you can appreciate the music and the editing. If you don't understand the title, just enjoy the alliteration. If you do get it, then hopefully you think AEA is as funny as I do. Enjoy and comment. Peace.

Oh! I almost forgot. The first song is written, performed ad produced by my good friend specifically for this video. If you have any comments on the song that would also be cool and I will make sure he gets on and check this thread.

The random shine soundbytes start to get annoying 30 seconds in to the video.

Also, are the random slow-downs supposed to signify the use of, lo and behold, MINDGAMES? These things (same with the soundbytes) are fine if used sparingly, but with repeated use, it gets really old, really fast. Save it for your best combo or w/e. Also, please don't have a good 5-10 seconds in slow motion. That's pretty annoying to sit through.

Negatives aside, without the extras, the combos were entertaining enough by themselves. Pretty solid Fox with some original combos.

Mike Haze is an *******, don't watch his combo vid /gg LOL

Thanks for the feedback. I see what you are talking about with the slo-mo, but I'm surprised it bothered you so much. There are only a couple of slowed down scenes and the longer ones go with the music. The long slow down scene sort od demonstrates the wicked fast beat that my friend puts in. We'll have to agree to disagree on the two slow mo scenes that go with the music, but I probably could have done without the 3 short ones. Oh well. As for the sound effects, i can see how those could get obnoxious if you are really focused on them, but I guess I have them tuned out. I have to contend with you saying they are random however. They are lined up with the shines in the video and with the beat of the music. At one point in the procduction of this video before I had all the clips put in the shines actually were just in random places in the video. Now that was annoying. Anyway, most people have been all about the editing, so it's cool to get some one who thought the combos were interesting.

Oh yeah, and you're right, that kid is a ****.

I'm currently going to school in Southern California.
I don't think I'm better at smash than you.
My swear word had 4 letters and yours has 5, so clearly there's been some confusion.
Me calling you a **** has nothing to do with your smash skills, but more to do with your forum etiquette. Coming onto this thread and writing "****ty editing" is far from a helpful or friendly comment. In fact, it's the kind of comment that ****s make. If you don't want people to say that about you, stop acting like a douche. I honestly can't imagine any other motive for that comment. If you've got one, let me know.

Money matching is not the solution.

All jokes aside, I meant nothing by my comment. I don't know you, I don't know if you're a ****. But you've acted like one in this thread.

How is saying ****ty editing not a helpful comment? I'm stating that you're editing was very bad, so therefore you should react upon it and learn to edit.

It's not helpful because it's rude and incredibly vague. The comment was clearly not meant to help me get better at editing. If it was, you might have included why you didn't like the editing instead of making me ask. Turns out it was the slow motion, which accounts for about 20 seconds of my 8 minute video. I'm sure you have more things you didn't like, but you didn't include them because you had no constructive intentions.

The comment was for your benefit. I guess so you can feel better about yourself. It's a classic bully situation. Put everyone down to try to make yourself look better. Or I guess just other people with Fox videos? This happens online all the time, and it's pretty annoying. Then when you think some one is challenging your authority, you try to solve it in the most illogical way possible: violence, or your equivalent, money matching. Do you try to money match everyone that swears at you? Think about that for a little while.

Those are my constructive comments for you. React upon them. If you want to respond, send me a PM. I don't want to keep cluttering up this thread because I'm interested in the comments other people have about my video. I also don't want this to escalate anymore than it has. If you are going to comment again in here, please make it about the video. I'm sure you have more negative comments you'd like to get off of your chest and I'm down to hear them.

i don't put others down to try to make myself feel better, i put others down when i find there a need to be.
In this situation, i thought you should know that your editing was terrible.

I money match because money speaks more than words. You call me a ****, i'll take your money, essentially putting your money where your mouth is.

okay i'll comment about your video, like i did previously.

your editing is very ****ty. I hated it.

The editing was NICE. And at least the combos were actually COMBOS, unlike mike haze's combo vid (?)

the music was nice, do you have download links?

Edit: I didn't say the combos were good they were just ok

How are the combos in this vid not actual combos man: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pFSzEH0eKc ........Rise and Shine > this, no beef yomi ;)
Oh and if you are referring to the "vs lucky montage" not being actual combos, check out this post.

well i was just basically capitalizing on my opponents mistakes, and this was in no way supposed to be a real combo video - if you want that go watch rise and shine.

Lucky is honestly just too good.
Also don't dislike me now, hell.
