the best baton pass recipient is jirachi because of good resists, balanced stats, and good neutral coverage.
back in the day when superachi was a thing, it could clean up almost anything that wasn't named heatran or blissey on its own. if it gets enough CM and speed boosts passed to it from a full BP team, it can even muscle through spdef heatran with hp ground and rely on psyshock/tbolt/grass knot to cover the rest.

Earthquakes are so common these days though. And what Jirachi set, Paraflinch or SubCalmMind?

Sheer Force Landorus (the special attack version). Landorus/Ttar/Keldeo is the latest great offensive core. Those 3 combined can muscle past just about anything other than a couple of things such as Rotom W, but that's what the other 3 team slots are for.
Nasty Plot Celebi with Baton Pass would probably do well with the above core.

Ya, I constantly use that core whenever I use a sand team.

Gyara is honestly the least thing I'd be worried about. It's so uncommon compared to Keldeo's other checks and counters.
