Hey guys. Ive been viewing this forum for a while and now ive finally registered :p
Me and my friends recorded vids a few days ago, so please rate us and comment how we can improve (especially me :p) My main character is falcon, so tips for falcon would be nice.

Dont worry, we are not noobs. We know zcancel, di and can do combos. But maybe we are too agressive play style. We are all quite good skill level. But 'maltfox' is the best in the group. I would say he is the best in europe compared to the videos ive seen of other players.

From the first vid I can see you guys are quite good.
Decent ledge DI.
Some of the edgeguarding could use some work (as in, don't get too cocky :p)
However I like what I'm seeing so far.
Nice quality videos by the way :lick:

Maltfox has a great Fox...haha.

Maltfox has sick fox. Like, really up there.

As for the falconage, I mean you guys obviously know how to combo, so I guess it comes down to spacing and not getting hit and etc? >.> not sure how to give advice on that (or if I'm even qualified to).

thanks for comments. im glad you liked the matches. we will hopefully play more matches tonight, so i will update this topic.

we just played on computer, but not online. ive tried online but it doesnt feel like normal. too slow :(
yes maltfox is very good, actually morgen is also very very good. its funny because maltfox just choose link to give us a chance lol
we havent beat his fox in maybe 4 months lol and we play almost everyday.

Pretty nice. I really liked it. You 2 are playing on emulators I'm guessing, right? You might want to check out the European ladder :)

Btw, how did you get your quality that amazing? It looks like it's going a full 60 fps on youtube when I thought youtube only went 30 fps. Did you also figure out the HD exploit D:?

i used 'hypercam 2' to record the videos from emulater (mupen)
exploit? i dont know lol i just uploaded them after recording.

i have a few more vids, i will upload them soon! :p

do you know of strategies to beat a good fox with falcon on hyrule? im really have trouble vs his fox

Did you try to play in p2p? I find playing in servers too slow, but with 2-3 frames of delay you shouldn't even notice the difference :O

I really loved the walking jab combo. What kind of controller are you using? I tried a PS2-like controller but I suck cause I can't even use tilts lol

From that one match, I think that you should play a little more patiently. Instead of straight up approaching all the time, mix in empty jumps and space yourself with backairs. Of course, once you get a hit on him, you know what to do =)

For edgeguarding, dtilt standing on the edge is probably the safest and most consistent method, because its lag is short enough that you can still hit him or grab him if he avoids the dtilt. Maltfox ledge DIs very well, but dtilting him puts him in a better position for you to edgeguard.

This guy(I mean maltfox)is so good. Of course swebits and morgen r good too. Even though I noticed that maltfox sometimes he gets crazy when tries to kill his opponent and his simple mistakes r fatals for a pikachu,overall in dreamland. Anyway he plays really good. Nice vids.

Another thing that I noticed is that morgen and swebits need more edgeguarding. They lost the chance to kill maltfox in too many times. Overall Fox vs Pikachu.

I came in here expecting Aqua type vids. Instead I was pleasently... surprised. You guys are definitely skilled. You guys just need to play against other players to get more experience and learn how to edgeguard better.

i tried better killing off the edge, but mostly got destroyed by maltfox still lol

yes definitely we play fast and maybe too aggressive sometimes lol, förlåt men jag använder inte msn. och internet spel laggar alldeless för mycket för mig. men vi kan träffas irl o spela om de e möjligt. jag kan kontakta dig när jag kan :)

Good vids guys, I'm surprised to see good players almost come outta nowhere like this. Hopefully you can get used to playin on p2p or somethin. I'd like to play you guys, especially malt. He reminds me of boom.:laugh: I just gotta figure out why I cant forward ports >_>;

Pika's Utilts are a tiny bit difficult to DI out of...you have to know where to DI :bee:
I usually try for to the side and downwards...but...*shrug*
Maltfox has pretty good DI :lick:

You're a bit predictable with your techs...half the game Maltfox just techchased you to death, hehe.
Falcon combos Link to death...use more upsmashes and abuse Falcon's speed. Dash in and out a bit instead of just running blindly in which you seem to do. You seem to be losing mostly due to impatience than anything else.

Yep more usmashes and fthrows into spiking combos. try to be a bit more elusive and unpredictable.

Lirar ni på konsol eller dator? Man kan minimera lagget rätt bra på datorn om man bara mixtrar lite med settings. Finns p2p mode för netplay, skulle nog inte lagga mkt där. gissar på under 15 i ping. var bor du annars
