And Diglett has appeared in more games than Bandana Dee. A direct comparison is kinda faulty considering it's not like those series reside in the same frequency or volume bracket. If you want to go percent wise Krystal's is higher than Dee's.

The point I'm making is they're all b-tier characters in their series, that's their similitude. You might disagree, but Bandana Dee had what, one playable role, like... one supporting role and a bunch of minor appearances? I wouldn't exactly put him on par or anywhere close to the three already there. Him being in Smash would be fine, if you support him then go for it. I'm just saying there's no big Bandana Dee shaped hole in the Kirby series whereby its current incarnation feels incomplete (like with DK and Metroid) for anyone other than Kirby fans and general Bandana Dee supporters.

I mean if the roster feels lacking without him why can't the same be said for Impa or Krystal (assuming we count Wolf) or Goroh? They're the next logical steps in their series inclusion... but it's not like they need to be included... they're of the b-tier and we already have the a-tier, which is why it doesn't really feel like much is lacking without them. At least in general, not to specific fans of those characters.


I'm saying it doesn't really matter. People can want whatever they want, but it's not like Kirby is lacking its main cast or is in a state of being wanting like some other series.

It's standalone and just happens to share the general thing that Atlus does which is take one bit of mythology and spin it into a modern setting.
But the funny thing is that it was actually an elaborate test for Persona 5's capability for in-game cutscenes.

Hell, the protagonist LOOKS like Vincent!

I don't think it's meant to be a spin-off, it simply has a few Persona Easter Eggs and one of the Persona games has a cameo from Vincent. It's just a standalone otherwise.

But yeah I have heard of it, it's one of my favourite games ever.

I was pretty surprised to hear it has a competitive scene in Ireland.
