Oh you mean the one with all the SEGA games... After Runners, no, but I wish... It sounds so good...So out of couristy does anyone believe either sonic leak?
The recent 4chan one has already been confirmed fake, both by people digging and the leaker later admitting to it.So out of couristy does anyone believe either sonic leak?
It was deconfirmed? Hope you don't mind if I ask but could I have a link, if not then I completely understand. The recent 4chan one has already been confirmed fake, both by people digging and the leaker later admitting to it.
The TSSZ source may have more credibility though.
And the old 4chan leak from over a year ago (the "Digital Sonic 25" one) has some credibility too, as it both detailed Sonic Runners to a tee before it was announced, and detailed story details of Rise of Lyric before it came out, and they were pretty spot on too.
But Frosty-senpai! Everyone knows that only the playable characters count as representation! Some people think Fire Emblem's representation is at the same level as Mario, Pokémon and Zelda... Not true.
Some statistics:
Series|Characters|Alt. costumes|Stages|Music|Items|Assists|Enemies|Trophies
Mario|7|7|13|71|20|4|14|159
The Legend of Zelda|5|0|7|34|8|4|7|85
Pokémon|6|0|4|24|2|40|5|109
Fire Emblem|6|2|3|23|0|1|0|34
It goes without saying that FE does have a similar amount of characters (tied with Pokémon, placing it between Mario and Zelda), but I don't feel the game is implying in any way that FE is bigger than the other series considering the total amount of FE content in Smash isn't nearly as much as the other series' respective content.
By the way, I'm using this data for a personal project of mine... Whatever it might be.
(A certain 'stached Luma might now what I'm talking about...)
wow, SquareEnix gave up its cloud-based video game company Shinra Technologies; announcing its dissolution. Sad.

You say that as sarcasm, but honestly new items will never be comparable to a new character, nor is recycled trophies from other games. But Frosty-senpai! Everyone knows that only the playable characters count as representation!
To clarify, the recent 4chan leak I refer to is this one (I didn't proof read for swearing as I was just about to get off my laptop but I don't think it had any. If it does, I've spoiler'd it in case it does):It was deconfirmed? Hope you don't mind if I ask but could I have a link, if not then I completely understand.
I know you're taking a stab at people who don't count it but honestly. But Frosty-senpai! Everyone knows that only the playable characters count as representation!
"cloud-based"Well not totally surprising, SE didn't do jack with it.wow, SquareEnix gave up its cloud-based video game company Shinra Technologies; announcing its dissolution. Sad.

Lol.Though I did find it strange that Sakurai specifically said that he dropped Takamaru due to unfamiliarity in the West, yet he included a character that was nearly unknown to Western audiences entirely... And he costs $5.00!
I think someone here was asking if I had tree-fiddy earlier today...Btw, which one of you is the Loch Ness Monster?
so that's how they managed to get cloud into smash!"cloud-based"
Heh
Whatever your project is, I would really like a full copy of the data as soon as you're at liberty to share it.Some people think Fire Emblem's representation is at the same level as Mario, Pokémon and Zelda... Not true.

Lol.
Well...Corrin is a promotional character. Takamaru had nothing to promote.
(Unless you count a VC release as an upcoming game...which probably wasn't in the works when Smash development started as they didn't do much to it)
I wasn't complaining at all, all I was saying was that I found it a strange situation.Ignoring the obvious complaining over Corrin again, I will point out that Sakurai did NOT decide against Takamaru for his lack of Western familiarity.
It was due to a lack of popularity.
And before you try to pull "BUT CORRIN WAS HARDLY POPULAR" as an inevitable counterpoint, it should also be pointed out that Corrin wasn't added for popularity reasoning.
Well isn't it kind of tempting fate to call a sector of SE Shinra, though?Well not totally surprising, SE didn't do jack with it.wow, SquareEnix gave up its cloud-based video game company Shinra Technologies; announcing its dissolution. Sad.

Fiora is in Project X Zone 2 because the game is developed by Monolith Soft, who also developed Xenoblade Chronicles. She isn't there for promotional reasons but because she comes from a game made by the same team as this game, so it's an easy addition.Does anyone think that this character was in a good position as a promotional character?
Here's why I'm asking this, Project X Zone 2 was released in Japan on November 12th 2015,
By April or July, I think that they may've planned a release date for the game's release in Japan, now considering the game's developers (Monolith Soft) I think Fiora may've been added to the game early on courtesy of them, and considering the publisher (Bandai-Namco) were the ones developing Smash, negotiations would've been mostly easy, so I wonder, why not her? Not to mention that she's the only Nintendo character to appear in that game and not have a major role in Smash, unlike these two,
So it just seemed like perfect timing, so why not her?
They may not be as important but they shouldn't be ignored altogetherYou say that as sarcasm, but honestly new items will never be comparable to a new character, nor is recycled trophies from other games.
Stages are cool though. I really like Gerudo Valley and Skyloft.
I hope the next console Smash game has Gerudo Valley.
It's not that they are ignored but at the end of the day, people buy Smash for the characters you can play as most of the time. Everything else is extra, and non-essential.They may not be as important but they shouldn't be ignored altogether
They are still part of the series' representation
No, I know she wasn't a promotional character for PXZ2, I meant she could be considered a contender for a character in Smash as a promotion. Sorry if that wasn't clear.Fiora is in Project X Zone 2 because the game is developed by Monolith Soft, who also developed Xenoblade Chronicles. Shulk and Fiora are the default mascots of Xenoblade Chronicles since they hold the most importance in it's story. Smash got Shulk, so Fiora gets her turn in PXZ2.
Then I would still say no since she has absolutely no appearance in XCX.No, I know she wasn't a promotional character for PXZ2, I meant she could be considered a contender for a character in Smash as a promotion. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
Yeah I know right?! Where the hell is Zelda?Only now do I realise this, But it isn't just Sakurai who has a love for Fire Emblem characters.
