I think the direct or atleast the new dlc characters could happen on the 4th mainly because of Both Xenoblade X releasing in North America and the new Triforce Heroes update.

I read the part of the interview posted on gonintendo and I have to say that dev like this, I like that they say stuff like that.Itoi sounds like a really fun guy to hang out with XD
Because after sakurai making a similar statement and me playing so good games, I realised that sometime, a series can become so good, so deep and so exploited in its concept that a sequel becomes less and less worthy.
To me, Itoi is a smart person if he really stopped to continue his series because of these reasons. the reasoning to me is simple, why making another game of pretty much similar concept that woudl be hard to improve if a really good game already did a really good job? it doesn;t mean a sequel shoudl never happen, it means that if it happens, there would be less of a point.
Which is why I tend to not assume a sequel is coming like in smash, I jsut don;t take for granted that future games will happen which is why I just don;t talk about it.....
The only time I start to talk about it is me having reasons to do. Although tbh, I think I am going to talk less about the possibility of a Paper Mario sequel because the James leak is just been very long and it;s almost dead so, maybe i'll happen, but I just don;t have much reasons to (altough imo, it SHOULD happen in this case.....).

Cloud can't be the only one released this year when we've had someone being developed at the same time as him ever since Mewtwo was released.
The "company" could be Konami (Bomberman/Simon Belmont) or Level-5 (Layton/Jibanyan). If we "love them or hate them" on their merits of being iconic, then it may be a controversial choice.
Other than that it's a fairly standard text rumor.

I really appreciate this guy giving this fake rumor a fairly immediate deadline. Wish more fake leakers would do that.
As if he's actually even going to show up after the 3rd/4th.
And why on earth would Sakurai talk about who he's going to leave in charge of the next Smash? A direct for the game is not the time nor place for that, and even if it was we already know how insanely cautious Sakurai is with leaving Smash alone. I love the "taken western suggestions in mind" bit, getting all them hopes up for Melee 2.0 so some poor sap somewhere can believe it and have his dreams crushed.

Real talk, if (like the "leak" proposes) we are going to get 4 characters in addition to Cloud, which I do not believe is anywhere close to possible, I would rather have Wolf and Snake + 2 unknown newcomers + Cloud then 1 vet +3 unknown newcomers +Cloud. Just a personal preference sort of thing.
Posted for free stuff. Here's hoping that I'll get Super Mario Maker, Shantae or Q!

While I completely agree that the leak is garbage, the guy/girl used the word "considered" so I feel it's unfair to say he's implying that there's a winner.

I had a horrible dream. Xenoblade X's western release was buggy as **** and got panned. I realized it was a dream when I saw a new Kirby game and thought 'wait a tic, Tilt'n Tumble already exists!'
