Actually I expected codename steam kind of reviews where critics poked the same wound until it bleed out.

So they pushed Fed Force release date to Metroid's 30th?....

Honestly I'm not sure how I feel about that tbh, a spin-off title is going to be the anniversary title...whether it turns out to be a good game or not I really hope Nintendo have more planned for Metroid's 30th, this is something that happens only once...let's not celebrate the last 30 years of Metroid with just a simple spin-off...

Zelda and Pokemon at least have full fledged titles on the way for their 30th and 20th respectively (even though we know next to nothing about either of them)

I concur, don't let the fans down as much as they already have been so far by not giving them a main series game that is good that isn't on the series' 30th anniversary year.

They appear to be the starters, and sound like a fire tiger, grass crow, and water manatee. Which all sound pretty sweet. And one other mon. Maybe region bird or rodent?

And there is suppose to be one for Gregiki, but I haven't seen it yet.

ソルガレオ、ルナアーラ, マーシャドー are probably the legendaries.

モクロー、アシマリ、ニャビー are probably the starters.

ニャビー is most likely cat related (as nyah is meow).

No, I meant using grinding to her advantage, THEN promote her. :p If you promote her too early, you'll underpower her. :p

Though in my playthrough I made her an assasin for a but.... It had some, ummm.... Broken results... Like if it'd be rare for her not to get aether, lethality, or a crit. And she used bows to her advantage. :p

It isn't. By IGN's standards people like to think it is though considering how inconsistent their scores are to their actual reviews.

It's one of the many reasons score-based ratings need to die.

Hmm, so I see Star Fox Zero isn't getting the 10 out of 10 scores people have been wanting. Let's see...

Do I make a joke about how it's "not for critics", or do I tie in a joke regarding Batman vs Superman's critical reception?

The possibilities are endless.


Though alternatively, I could also say "all critics should just die" and get a bunch of likes. So that's also a possibility.

And we don't really hear about them much, unless they are cult classics or AAA.

Not saying Star Fox Zero is bad - This is IGN after all - but the usual expectation for an AAA title is a bit higher than 7.5.

Because if a game isn't triple A GOTY then it is terrible. Simple facts.


And even though the scores are about average it seems like anyone who can get used to the controls and the sparse content based on replayability is going to be just fine.

Platinum game gets a low score (That isn't :4bayonetta2:) that upsets the fans

You guys should have learned this from Transformers, Wonderful 101, Metal Gear Rising, Vanquish and MadWorld.


Especially W101 which GameXplain straight gave it **** it didn't deserve

Watch when Nier 2 and Scalebound get low scores like 7s, 6s and 7.5s

Whoever thought it was a good idea to allow reclassing when every unit with access to Myrmidon gets both Assassin and Swordmaster was out of their mind
Vantage, Lethality, Pass, Astra and Swordfaire break Awakening in half
Add Vengeance or Galeforce and nothing remains

Am I the only one that thinks the voice acting for Star Fox Zero is rather cringeworthy? More so for Falco.

On the plus side the music is really great for the game.

From what I've seen, Star Fox: Zero looks like an excellent game from a raw gameplay standpoint, but completely missing some opportunities and staple features of previous installments/games in that genre, and overall feeling light on content, making the AAA price tag seem questionable.

So basically, Smash Wii U, Mario Kart 8, Mario Party 10, Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, Splatoon (at launch, it's mostly fine now), and Pokkén Tournament all over again.

I hope NX games buck this trend. At least Zero comes with Guard (though granted, I'm a bit peeved that it's not a free extra in Europe and costs an extra €10, and is also a hard to get bundle over here, so I have to import).

SF64 worked well for it's time though and even those voices weren't as cringeworthy IMO. Especially the Star Fox crew
