The way you guys talk about social encounters sounds like some of you might be on the autism spectrum/aspergers. That's not meant to be an insult at all, as "the spectrum" is so vague these days.
You should consider seeing a psychologist and getting an eval. if you haven't already. Will probably help you learn techniques for yourself.
It's all good. That sounds exactly like Aspergers/mild autism. Someone I'm VERY close to went through the whole ordeal.
It's a shame that the internet uses autism as an insult. It 5 years people won't think twice when they meet someone with autism/aspergers. So many people are on the spectrum that you would never even notice.
Person I know was extremely popular and tried as hard as he could to be social. But it hurt him so much and was so challenging so he saw someone. Wouldn't you know... diagnosed with aspergers. Tough to come to terms with at first. But it ended up being so beneficial for him. Explained odd behaviors he had. He got therapy for many things.
Point is, for anyone scared to see a psychiatrist/psychologist (I forget which one), or scared to receive a diagnosis. It really can only help. I never brought it up here before, but I see many people here obviously struggling socially. And there are solutions/paths to success out there.
As someone higher on the spectrum, this is something I can completely agree on. I don't have a problem with it, I don't go to a psychologist though. I am slightly socially awkward but I have a lot of friends and still talk to many people. It's mainly that I kind have trouble talking to someone without similar interests, but I work on that. As for the unsult part, I agree completely as well. It's just really stupid. I don't take offensive to it( I'm a pretty patient/hard to damage person), but I find it just a stupid way to insult someone. Especially since the numbers of children with it grows each year. I think it is 1 in 75 right now, but I could be wrong. Overall, your statements are very accurate, it's not a bad idea to get it checked if you want, or if you don't, but I still think it's something people could always consider.
So if Pokkén Tournament would get DLC, when do you think would be earliest for DLC reveal?
How long did it take them to make characters for the arcade version? 3 months right?
If so, then I could see reveals bi monthly like smash, and them release a month after their announcement. Namco is good at making things fast, and they probably already have 2 to 3 fighters done if they are planning DLC. Which would give them a head start for future DLC. And since there are so many pokemon, they could make a lot of fighters and keep it going away if they wanted. But if they are switching to the NX, I don't know how long they would do it for. New stages and assists would be cool to.
This reminds me, what if they did Pokken NX?
Updated graphics, a few new mons, and supported DLC?
How likely would that be?
