I heard the same from my gamestop. I ended up picking it up from target after my CE hunt was fruitless and my Gamestop called me to check on my pre order specifically because of how hard it was to fine.
I got Conquest but I'm doing Birthright first. I based my first path purely on which side I felt compelled to help rather than the obvious differences between the two gameplay wise.
Is it me, or is IGN starting to get overhated lately? A lot of Project x Zone fans started to heavily dislike their recent review on the sequel because of the low score (6.5) and complaints about repetitive gameplay.
Still not going to stop me from kicking *** with Fiora and KOS-MOS this Friday.
To be fair, lower review scores give a negative opinion to people who don't know better, so they could think 'IGN gave this game a low score?' Best not to get it then as I want good games
I'm really upset that X Zone 2 didn't seem to fix many, if any, of the problems the first game had. X Zone is the only game that I stopped playing when I was near the END because of how insanely obnoxious and dragging it became.
Seriously, making me take 20 minutes to get to a boss, 5 to beat the boss, throwing another wave for 20, fighting another boss for 5, and doing it a THIRD TIME with TWO MORE BOSSES AT ONCE, on the SAME CHAPTER, was the absolute worst padding I have felt in awhile. It wasn't even the last 5 chapters, I dread the thought of what those were like.
If I'm gonna be honest, Project X Zone never sounded like a good game. I hear so many complaints that boiled down to awful level design and obnoxiously repetitive missions with ridiculous padding. Like I wonder how that game would've fared with its fanbase if it wasn't a fanservice crossover. (Really sounds like the game has only flare and not much else, really.)
I heard 2 was a lot better but still repetitive though I think? I would buy it but I don't think it's my kind of game and I kinda don't trust it going off what 1 apparently did. :/

So, phelous in his "Dinosaur Adventure" video mocks the fact they made an "Otter lizard" dinosaur. Among every horrible not dinosaurs they made in that cartoon
But, Castorocauda was pretty much an otter lizard and lived in the Jurassic period
If anything, Bayonetta is Red and Black
It's the same site as the 'SAMUS IS TRANS, DEAL WITH IT' article. I only needed to hear Bayonetta to guess the rest of the article. Here's what you do to look at Bayonetta's character: Remove her sex appeal, and look what's left. A determined person who'd literally go to hell and back for her loved ones, she's strong, she's confident, she's playful, blablabla. Overall, solid character, regardless of sex appeal or gender
The Smash Wiki made a page for Source Gaming! But now it might get deleted because we aren't strictly related to Smash...guess we haven't made enough of an impact on Smash to be noteworthy. =\ http://imgur.com/a/75S33
Album in case it gets deleted.
But really, meh. It's just a headcanon. Is there really any harm in pushing speculation? People do it all the time, and the only reason this blew up was because it was about a controversial topic.
I just watched a video about Street Fighter's "Q" a few days, and aside from little tidbits, it was all speculation, pushed as truth. But I doubt you'll find anyway hammering at their keyboards about it, cause it's not about a controversial topic.
I just read this article, and although I was surprised someone said that about her, there is inaccuracy.
1. It was a quote from a background artist from Super Metroid.
2. It wasn't a quote from Samus's character designer or creator.
3.
A later interview with Yoshio Sakamoto would later joke about the same quote from said interview, saying that a Metroid game was as likely to come to PS2 as Samus was to be a transvestite.

The author of the article tried tampering with Wikipedia to say Samus was trans, a different author wet her knickers screaming that Zelda, Link and Tails were also trans and the article criticized Persona 4 and Danganronpa for bad trans characters wheb they were a tomboy and crossdresser respectively
It kind of trivializes trans-women's struggles imo.
I'm all for one for just treating minority qualities as just part of a character but I really don't like turning a character into a minority for the sake of it. Feels like a label being slapped onto other things. Calling Samus trans just feels like they don't understand trans-women. I'd rather they focus on making new and interesting minority characters instead.
I'm all for head cannon and theories but pushing it as far as they did (editing wikipedia articles and such) puts a bad taste in my mouth. There needs to be tact with this sort of thing and well... They didn't have any.

So it wasn't speculation? Never mind then, that's pretty lame.
Admittedly, I've only ever skimmed the article and just wrote it off as some harmless headcannon, like I do with most things like that. But actually altering things to get your point across is ****ty.
I guess I get mad when people politicize minority issues.
Like, I love Poison, Metaton, and Vivian as trans characters because being trans isn't the main character trait. It's a part of who they are, but its almost dwarfed by all their other character traits and personalities they have. They feel like people I'd want to hang out with. They make me feel like trans people are just normal everyday people like me. Like they aren't this alien race or whatever.
Meanwhile, a lot of trans characters feel annoying and grating honestly. Gen Zed? Awful. It wants you to think it's inclusive because its hammering minority issues while talking a moral high ground. The characters aren't fun characters. They're pawns for propoganda. The character turns political. It's like "tumblr activism" in that's its screaming something but only to feel morally superior and without a real goal in mind.
Not exactly a trans issue exactly. It can happen with any minority quality, but eh, we were talking about it.
I mean, I suppose having transwoman as one of the voice-actors can be a selling point. I think it's arguable a selling point of Orange is the new Black is having Laverne Cox, a transwoman, as an actor. I dunno, I think it's because Ged Zed just doesn't look good it comes off as, meh. Art isn't good, jokes didn't seem funny. It just feels like, "Hey we're inclusive". Which isn't bad, but no one clamors over the Boondocks just because it's a TV show featuring black people and black culture (excluding season 4, that was garbage).
I'm not far in but... does the game get any quicker? At the moment I am not really enjoying it because my turns last about 2 seconds then the enemy turn goes for like 2 minutes.
I pretty much agree with the whole thing being said about minority characters.
The only thing I have to add, and it's not necessarily related to minority characters, is that yeah, speculation/headcanons can be a bad thing when done wrong. I've seen it happen plenty of times, where "headcanons" become too accepted when they aren't actually true, and the general perception of the character becomes warped as a result.
As I've said before, a headcanon is not a headcanon if it isn't well backed up by official material, and if it's been flat out said it can't be the case by an official source (like the creator of the character). "Samus is trans" isn't and cannot be a headcanon because nothing about her character suggests it, and it's already been flat out said that it can't be the case by someone deeply involved with the character's portrayal. If you seriously believe Samus is trans and want to stick with that regardless of official material, then you have a fanon - essentially a made up version of what the character is.
People seem to not understand this distinction and get upset when you tell them they can't headcanon something, thinking it's mean, but it's not. You can't just make up anything you want about a character and call it a headcanon. That's just how it is. If people understood this, far less characters would be misunderstood and misrepresented in fan-art and what not.
Gee, I wonder what character that I like is effected severely by this...

Well there is a fast forward button for enemy turns on the touch screen.
Other than that, once you get a full party of four characters, yeah, the game gets much more involved. And the maps get more complex so you will start thinking about what you're doing more on your turn, making your turns last longer.
