So, yesterday I was so tired I laid back down when my alarm went off and ended up sleeping for an extra 30 minutes

Today I get up and even though I'm tired, decide to make coffee instead.

It still took up a 30 minute time to get everything ready, make it, and drink it though

Saying that reprogramming everything from scratch would have been painful is an understatement, considering how many things the game keeps track of.

And considering it's the same guys who apparently ported Guacamelee to Wii U, I feel pretty good about this being a good port.

Now that the last DLC wave has come...

I must say, in one hand, it's a relief that the game's development is finally over and speculation can rest for a good while and I can look forward to Sakurai's next game.

On the other hand, I did grow used to the more or less timely updates that always added a bit more content to the game and there's nothing more like that to look forward to.

Maybe I'll try to get a Wii U and get Smash Wii U along with it. Though that may depend on whether the NX will be a home console with backwards compatibility... I'm kind of iffy about all that.

It doesn't help that I've been growing less interested in video games overall either.

I think I'm gonna try to arrange a stage wishlist that'll knock everyone's socks off. There's not as much vitorol around stages as there is around characters because very few people even cared about them prior to 4's release. As a start, I'm pretty much going to leave the Big Three in the wishlist equivalent of a topic sticky for the duration of any fantasy stage roster.

From there I've only really settled for sure on one other thing I want to see.

Underworld (Kid Icarus)

Basically, I have an image ingrained into my head from a brief flyby in Chapter 9 of Uprising of a very desolate landscape with dead trees, rivers of lava slithering across a rocky landscape, and immensely thick, smoggy cloud cover. It serves as a bit of a contrast to the volcanic lava areas of the other lava stages by giving the impression of just being outright dead. More importantly, it's a redesign of the same area you started the original Kid Icarus in in the first place. Not only is it a stark contrast to the fluffy happy cloud land of Skyworld, it showcases one of the few starting points in a platformer that isn't just some sickeningly pastel grassy field.

Even after he used the Klown Kar a bunch, I don't think anyone really expected him to be in it.
