I was merely joking, since Sakurai usually tweets about an upcoming Direct when theres Smash news involved. Since theres no Sakurai tweet, we can assume theres no news, thus dead speculation

Kimishima walks onto the stage, presses a button, a whistle blows. Out of nowhere a poorly anmated cgi train drives through the stage, on we see miyamoto, reggie, sakurai, and Anouma. Kimishimajumps on as the train speeds ahead, with the words hype train on it. First stop, Sakurai flips off the train, smash logo cuts into the screen. Shovel Knight, Bomberman, King K rool all are showcased. Smashboards dies right there, Sakurai jumps back on the train and Kimishima jumps off.

"Welcome To the New Nintendo Direct"
*puts on sunglasses, and explosion goes off in the background.
Hype train drives away, but comes back later.

Now... I hope they will announce at least one Smash Ballot character. Oh, and maybe some new amiibos. And new Mario Maker costumes.

I don't know about new games... hopefully something about Zelda Wii U and Pikmin 4... and maybe some surprises. I just want something new to get me hyped again after the Mario Maker update.

I'm hoping for Z as well. If it is in the direct, CoroCoro might spoil it though, if it leaks beforehand. Although I think pokken info could show up, and might be more likely. I wonder if the pikachu detective game still exists. If so they could announce that.

There is something very fishy though on the 12th, because Japan had an event tie in with that XYZ Anime special, where they gave special codes for a shiny Xerneas, shiny Yvetal & a regular Zygarde.

The Zygarde will be distributed in Japan on the 12th, so this could be more then just a coincidence & Coro Coro will also leak later this week
