Super sonic or hyper sonic?

What would make a better final smash?

Personally I think hyper sonic is better and cooler.

Hyper sonic can dash in his jump.... slightly like the fire shield. He also has sparkles around him. Personally i don't know why they chose super instead of hyper... if he was hyper he could dash in his final smash. The only reason they probs chose super is because of the dash. if they did not want it in the game and they chose hyper imagine what the classic sonic fanboys (like myself) would of said

Well Hyper Sonic is obviously the more powerful choice but weirdly enough I prefer his Super Sonic form.

I guess Nintendo chose it over Hyper Sonic because it's the more recognisable and well known transormation.
A friend of mine didn't even know there was a Hyper Sonic until a couple of weeks ago, granted he's not much of a gamer but he knew all about Super Sonic.

Hyper Sonic is better than super sonic in every extent, but has only appeared in one game. Two if you count mega collection. Super sonic i so much better known and is more common and classic. I would be outraged if sonic's final smash was anything but super sonic. Nothing else can compare.

Well, Super Sonic is obviously more widely known, since he's appeared in almost all of the Sonic games, as well as in the animated series, whereas Hyper Sonic only appeared in one game, so Super Sonic is clearly the better choice. And Sonic's current Final Smash is already one of the best, so adding more abilities to it is just overdoing it.
Now, I do still want Hyper Sonic is appear once again, so the only hope left for a Brawl appearance would be this: I'm thinking that there can be an Easter Egg where if a Smash Ball were to appear while you're in super form (that is, if that's even possible), and you break and activate it while being Super Sonic, you'll transform into Hyper Sonic for 15 seconds (the same duration as Super Sonic). To make it fair, since it's just an Easter Egg, everything will be the same as if you were Super Sonic (except for appearance, of course), and when those 15 seconds are over, you convert back to good old, regular, blue Sonic.

Yes and it also launches you in what ever direction your facing.

Yes. When you collect the 7 Chaos Emerlds you can become super knuckles. He just flashes white, runs faster, and is invincible. Hyper is when you collect all 7 Super Emerlds, he runs faster(still), has stars, leaves after images, flashes white, is invincible, and some times when you glide into walls it creates an earthquake destorying any enemies around.

In all seriousness, I'm surprised people claim Super Sonic to be classic and not Hyper Sonic. Super Sonic only has 2 more "classic" at most then Hyper Sonic, so why the big fuss either way?

Personally, I'd be all for Hyper, since he's so **** superior to Super, but EVERYONE seems to only know Super Sonic, so why not?
