I guess I'll make some playstyle ideas for the Super Smashboards Bros. Melee roster, haha.

For Reference.

Golden - A fierce playstyle revolving around lots of close-combat and high endurance, referencing how he always gets to the point and goes into detailed debates. A beatdown character at its finest.
Scoliosis - A sniper-type gunslinger playstyle, focusing on shooting the foe with a shotgun at closer range, and a sniper rifle at long range. A reference to his avatar, as well as that he's usually a straight shooter as far as his opinions.
Swampasaur - A swamp-beast with strong attacks (since he's a strong debater), as well as poison abilities to whittle the opponent's health down over time.
Xenoblaze/Habanero - A dynamic zoner who uses his fire-based abilities to burn holes through peoples' logic AND bodies. May need some cool-down time after his eruption is let out, but can use some long-ranged fire attacks.

Chronobound - A sort of sagely, sophisticated Rushdown character who uses a Rapier. A very in-your-face and hard to avoid character, referencing that he's been here the longest, and would know his way around a fight/debate.
SSBF - A mecha-user who fights in a giant robot suit, since SSBF loves robotics. A heavy hitting powerhouse who can adjust his playstyle by analyzing the opponent's moves, as he was the first to bring Rate Their Chances to the Smash 4 boards.
Falkoopa - A swift hitter who gets the job done, so to speak. Since he has a somewhat younger account for a mod, he can't take a lot of hits, but he can dish them out quickly. A speedy glass cannon would be a good description.
BKupa - A heavyweight grappler who carries a blunderbuss for finishers. Has surprisingly high jumps, but has a steep learning curve. I think the reference here should be a bit obvious. :p
M+SG - A slow-but-precise fighter who fights by swinging around his giant ban-hammer. A small-sized powerhouse with a light weight, causing him to be hit far...assuming he lets you hit him, that is.
Oasis - The Strongest of the characters, as far as willpower. He's the lethal joke character, after all! He may dress like a maid, but his quite literal iron fists pack quite a punch. Proceed with caution, lest you be removed by his powerful foaming cleanser and feather duster.
Johnknight - Loud and boisterous, his personality shows with his playstyle. A juggernaut with a ton of health, he just doesn't back down! After all, gameplay comes first with him, so he needs to be around for as much of it as he can! Also adds some anti-camping attacks to some of his moveset.
Pizzadudemanguy - One of the few second-party characters, Pizzadudemanguy is the token boxer on the roster. Using quick flurries of jabs and haymakers for more power, Pizza just goes with straight up offense. And he can use some pizza to restore his health in a hurry!
N3ON - One of the three mods on the roster. She has power, and she knows it. But that doesn't stop her from having a good time! A moveset that focuses on quick hits to whittle the opponent's damage down. Comes with a weapon switch function, allowing her to switch between using a battle scythe to using a huge firearm, allowing for both close combat and ranged fighting. Plus, emoticon taunts!
Opossum - While he lacks initial power, Opossum can "craft" his moveset over the course of the battle! Being, essentially, a "battle-tinkerer," Opossum uses his crafty nature (from which he derived his user name) to invent gadgets and gizmos to assist him during battle, such as creating ranged devices that only carry a few shots, or crafting mechanical wings for a recovery. Very heat-of-the-moment as far as playstyle, with different button combinations required to craft harder inventions.

Just a few for now. Will probably do a few more whenever I get bored again. :p
Back to do a few more of these!

Louie G. - A puppeteer character of sorts, kind of like Rosalina. In this, he uses two golems to dish out the damage for him, which mimic his actions. This is a reference to the fact that he owns this thread, IE, he "pulls the strings" around here.
SuperBrawler - A character that charges and gains power over time, eventually reaching his "super" form. He gains this power through combo strings. Mainly relies on close combat, and as such, lacks a projectile. He does have a tazer, though.
Chandelure - A spear user who focuses on poking the opponent from farther away. However, his spear is imbued with the powers of the dead, and can whittle away more damage if sweet spotted, as he made the famous "graveyard" picture.
LoneKonWolf - A feral fighter who uses his attached claws to shred through the opponent. Can ignite these claws for additional fire damage. Very combo heavy.
Diddy Kong - A wildman, so to speak. Skilled in acrobatic feats and at using a weaponized poll to his advantage. Can use monkey-like powers at whim.
Saturn Gamer - A character that uses the power of space to close in on opponents. Great at spacing and keeping the foes damaged from a distance. Up close, however, he doesn't have much. He relies mostly on indirect attacks.
BluePikmin - Uses unconventional means to fight, such as a puppy, a toaster and a chalkboard. Somehow, he is able to make use of these items in a fight, in reference to how he supports what many would see as unconventional characters.

With that, there's one more row to go.

I never even thought of this, and I love it.

You know? I may as well finish off the last row, for completion's sake.

King of Phantoms - A ghostly fighter that excels in aerial combat, and can float. Using poltergeist-type powers, KoP can place objects on the stage, and possess them throughout the battle to harm opponents. Can also use this to reflect projectiles.
MorbidAltruism - A mix-up fighter. Most of his moves involve the same animation (him doing a "like"), but the effect differs depending on the move. Due to this, he must always keep his opponents on their toes. He's really light, though, in reference to him liking Jigglypuff, so this may balance him a bit.
Shortie - A quick fighter with nice combo potential. Utilizes a weaponized yo-yo to disarm opponents by wrapping them up in the strings. Most of his physical attacks involve kicking.
TheKewlUsername - The Power-copier. By using the other opponent's cool usernames, he can copy one of their special moves, effectively making him the game's Kirby. Additionally, one of his moves randomly uses a move from anyone on the roster.
TumblrFamous - A slow but powerful character. Most of his moves involve a need to be charged, but he can pack a punch. His weapon of choice? His voice. Using high-frequency sonic blasts (through screams, shockwave claps, etc) that require a charge up, this fighter has a fantastic keep-away game.

And there we have it...fighting style ideas for all 26 Super Smashboards Melee characters. :p

On to Brawl!
Speaking of, I have an announcement pertaining to Super Smashboards Brawl...
A brand new character! @ Groose Groose !

Groose, the head of Rate Their Chances, joins the fray!
Groose is a heavyweight, as you may imagine, that relies heavily on physical attacks and his pure strength.
But by activating his Down Special, Groose can transform into @Hades the Magnificent!

Hades is Groose's evil counterpart, essentially sharing special moves with Groose, but ultimately having completely opposite effects.

I hope you all look forward to playing as Groose!

Character reveals will be more frequent now, so you have to be patient.
We are trying to include as many characters as possible, but not all of the popular choices will make it.
But I'm not THAT popular... I'm Yoshi, I guess. But my icon better be Vanellope, If I make it.

Here's my moveset!
N Special: Clair's Dragons: Clair leaps out of nowhere and sends out either Dragonair, Gyarados, or Kingdra. They're following effects are as follows: Dragonair uses Thunder Wave (which stuns others, like Disable), Gyarados uses Surf (which has high range), and Kingdra uses Hydro Pump (which as high knockback). (Based off of my old Clair avi)
S Special: Not My Boy: I kick Roy, sending him flying. Occasionally I instead blast him with a bazooka, which increases knockback and damage. (Based off of my hate for Roy)
U Special: Warpstar: I pull out my Warpstar and fly upwards with it. Mega Man hangs on as well, firing some shots. (Based off of my old sprite avi)
D Special: Malleo's Revenge: Malleo leaps out of nowhere and turns any foe within a small range into stone. (Based off of my old Malleo avi)
FS: Shadow Everywhere: Shadows cover up the screen, blocking everyone's sight. This affect last for 15 seconds. (Based off of my love for Shadow.)

I love it:awesome: was expecting some starfox abilities, but instead you made my fighting style exactly that of a wolf, I just love that:awesome:

oh well nice to know that, Groose drops in to the fray

If I was playable, I probably would throw random characters out of nowhere. Like G+W or Villager.

B down: Smash! - I change into my current avi and swing a Home-Run Bat.
FS: F***CK YOU! - I yell **** YOU and the sound waves insta kill foes, like Marth's Critical Hit

Anyone wanna make a group where we can post support threads for characters? Maybe Louie and Wolf could look at it, and use the amount of supporters as a way of choosing who gets in.

Wait. Is Scoliosis still involved? I thought he was done.
I thought I remember louie saying somewhere that he was making the rosters, and louie was acting like miiverse, just delivering information to him, and delivering his information to us
let me see if I can find it. . . . . . . . .

Alright, so I plan on actually announcing some characters soon, so stay tuned.
I have to talk to Scoliosis about it first.

I suggest a poll. That way people can vote for who they want to be a newcomer.

I'm the trickster/trap artist. The Diddy Kong of Smashboards Brawl.

Besides the REAL Diddy Kong, of course.
