I know its not Brawl, but I think this might be a good place to put it (as opposed to the General Brawl Disscusion Board or the Melee Character Discussion Board). If you don't already know, Super Smash Flash 2 is an online game that is based off of Brawl. It has most of the characters from the Smash series but is different in that it includes anime characters as well as 3rd parties. It hasn't been released yet, but they've updated their demo every few months.
They just recently added Link to the demo and he is AMAZING. Granted, I've only been able to play the computer, but he just plays way better than the other characters. One thing that I did notice is that this latest demo lags more than previous ones. It happened most often when I was using projectiles as Link, but it happened elsewhere so I'm not sure what to think.
A lot has gone into the SSF2 project and I think it may become as popular as Brawl (maybe...). I at least reccomend that everyone try out the demo and give Link a test. In only a couple minutes of playing, I found a combo (d-air, d-air, land, d-tilt or d-smash). I have a feeling that most character boards whose character makes it into SSF2 will eventually make one small thread to discuss it. Why not start early? Link is clearly different from the way he is in Brawl. Do you like this version better and do you think he will do well in the game? Tell me what you think about Link and there will be cake!
EDIT: (I did not have any part in making SSF2 with the exception of requesting Himura Kenshin to be a playable expansion character. Everything belongs to McCleodGaming.)
