=== The Street Fighter 6 Kickstart League ===

Hey everyone!
We've been kicking the idea around for a bit, but now it's official - the next Kickstart League will be for none other than S Street Fighter 6!

== What are the Kickstart Leagues? ==

The Kickstart Leagues (or 'KSLs' for short) are online, crew-battle format New Player Leagues, where small teams practice and compete together while learning a new game!

== Why do we run the KSLs? ==

The goal of each Kickstart League is to get a group of people together and playing at the same time, and help 'Kickstart' a community for it!
We try and make it easy for new players to learn from more experienced people as well, to help everyone get over some of the initial hurdles of learning any new game

== Who is running this KSL? ==

Unlike the prior ones, this one is not being ran by me!
I'll be assisting from the sidelines, but this time it's the @SF6KSL Organizers: Charey, Dr. Dre, JazzHands, KonaKami, & TheLivingShadow!
Also, if you would like to help out (and that would be much appreciated!) please let us know on the signup form! (If you only want to help out still go ahead and fill out the form - you won't take anyone's spot or anything)

== Who can enter the KSLs? ==
You must:

- Be new to (or relatively inexperienced in) @Street Fighter 6

• Be able to run the game steadily
• Have a wired internet connection (powerline can work - DM me for a connection test!)
• Be in the PNW (OR/WA/ID - exceptions can be made if you're close though, so DM me if you're not sure!)
• Be available reliably on Match Days (for this KSL that means Tuesdays and Wednesdays) during July and August

You do NOT need to sign up as a team (and it's easier for us if you don't anyways!)
(If you do want to team with someone though, put it in the notes when you sign up and we'll see what we can do!)

== Important Dates ==

- Signups close on Sunday, June 18th

• The SF6KSL Organizers will run two Ladder/Free-Play Nights (which will double as connection tests - please make sure you show up!) on June 20th & 21st!
• The first League Match(es) will be on June 27th
• All League Matches will be on Tuesday and/or Wednesday evenings!

This is a New Player League, and there will be minimal (if any!) prize support - this league is for fun and to learn more than anything else!

=== July 2023 Game Voting, Showmatch, & Feedback Form ===
Hey everyone!

It's almost July, so it's time for the monthly vote!
There are some changes this month, so please make sure you read this post!

== What is this for in the first place? ==

We only have time for 3 brackets SSF each day, but that means that at least one slot per day is open for vote-in games!

To figure out which game, we hold a vote each month and run the winning games (on alternating weeks)!

Since we're now running SSF Saturdays and SSF Sundays, we have two separate voting sections on the form - one for each day. Please fill out the questions for whichever day(s) you can attend!

== How does the vote work? ==

We're using a weighted vote system - everyone is able to vote for up to 5 games (per day) they'd like to see at SSF, and every vote gives that game a certain number of points (higher-ranked or "closer to 1st choice" games get more points per vote)

== Also, we're opening up signups for the the pre-SSF Showmatches! ==

We're running Showmatches at the start of SSF now as a way to highlight games that we don't have time to fit into our schedule (...and maybe show people why they should vote for them in the rotation!)
If you have a game you'd like to showcase, please let us know on the form and we'll work with you to get something figured out!
(Also, if you have an opponent in mind already that makes things much easier for us!)

Finally, if you have any feedback for us in general this would be a great way to let us know!

JazzHands is hosting a Netplay(/Learn to Play) Night this week for Exceed!

What is Exceed?
Exceed is a fighting game in tabletop form with characters from Street Fighter, BlazBlue, Under Night In-Birth, and more with heavy emphasis on good setups and hard reads.
Each character is a ready to play 30 card deck, so you don't need to prepare a deck in advance like a TCG, just come and play!

Please note: The game will be played via Tabletop Simulator!
